Good food and service but rather expensive for what it is.

I absolutely love the Booking Office restaurant. The food is delicious, especially the beetroot appetizer which was yum! The sea bass was cooked perfectly as well.

We had a wonderful time at this gorgeous restaurant. The service and food were both exceptional. While it may be more of a place for special occasions due to the prices, we would definitely come back again.

made reservation then was ignored at front desk. staff did not know where to seat me. poor service, took forever to take order, drinks and food only arrived after 30 mins and constant chasing, food items missing. overall extremely poor experience.

The menu was disappointing compared with the past. Service was disorganised and slow. Worst still a group of 10 People were allowed to sit at a table set for 4! Which ruined our evening more than a little. Just a little disappointed we had been looking to it for a while.

The atmosphere at this restaurant is fantastic. The food was exceptional, especially the steak tartare. We also tried the pea tortellini, creste di Gallo, and steak Diane, which were all delicious. The drinks were a bit expensive for the portion size. The service was excellent, and we went early at 6:15 to avoid the crowds. We would definitely return when we are back in the UK.

Food was very disappointing. Starter fish cakes were very small, lacklustre in taste and poorly presented. Lamb shoulder for two £56 came with small slices of greasy flatbread and two tiny ramakins of relishes. Monkfish curry was small and tasteless, although the two small pieces of monkfish were cooked perfectly. Service was haphazard and souless. Fantastic venue , decor and building let down by the food and service, which is the whole point of going.

The evening was completely ruined because we arrived to find the restaurant closed for a private party, despite having booked months ago and been sent a reminder by Open Table the day before. Open Table is a restaurant booking service booking us into one that was closed wasn’t very helpful. The restaurant eventually seated us in the hotel lounge where we were told that the drinks would be free. After the meal (the food was ok, but not great) we found that we were being charged £220 for the ‘free’ drinks. Having got those taken off the bill, the next problem (I know, it’s a long list) was that they couldn’t find a working card machine. Five card machines later we had to run to catch a train,...
