Booked sunday lunch.Staff pleasant enough, food so disappointing, luke warm, the flattest yorkshire pudding i have ever seen, looked as if a steamroller had run over them. Doubt if we will return..

Went for lunch I had steak my misses had a baguette the both were stunning my steak I asked to be rare and it was cooked spot on The chef Nicola and the staff were amazing very professional and helpful will definitely be back

Met with a few friends for a coffee and snacks. despite the coffee machine not working, they made homemade coffees through the morning. Waitress service was excellent, very polite and value for money was very good. Will go again. Speisekarte ansehen

Called on our way home recently. Delighted to see they had Brains IPA on keg. On sampling it was very poor lacking in taste, so unlike the Brains pubs in Cardiff! If you're going to have a decent beers like that learn how to keep it!

Wednesday night is curry night. 5 adults eating. 2 madras, 1 tikka and 2 vegetable thai curries. Absolutely spot on. Food was hot and extremely tasty. Couldn't finish it all. Staff were excellent. Always with a smile and a joke. #lovewhereyoulive Many thanks all.

We have been going here for years and always enjoyed our meal. We went last week and the fish had a tinge to it I complained and was told it wasn't cod but haddock.The cod has always been beautiful and white not this time. Not a bad place to stay. Had to wait about 10mins to check in...had a few members of staff walk past us without asking why we were there.... but got sorted in the end. Wasn't told we needed to recharge the door cards every day initially, only found out when we couldn't get into the room. Food was good. Member of staff got the order wrong twice but little things. So wasn't a big deal

Ordered a delicious gourmet burger and chips. Very thinly sliced perfectly cooked fries tasted amazing and well complimented with a pot of gravy for dipping, the gravy was excessively moorish. The burger was to die for and a decent size portion overall. Very friendly atmosphere, fast service, plenty of room at the tables not cramped at all and all for a respectable price. Would highly recommend one of my favourite pubs and one of the best meals I have had.

I have visited here often and have always found the food nice and staff friendly. However, I went for a meal with my family this evening and it was a shambles. The female (who I believe is the manager) was very miserable and seemed annoyed that we were there. Each time I went to the bar she was chatting with the same customer and I had to wait for her to finnish her conversation before serving me which again seemed to annoy her. When the food came two out of four meals were burned and rock hard. They also had no chips so it was cod and fries.
