Burton House - Speisekarte

We visited this restaurant during the 'Eat out to help out ' scheme. Ade, who greeted us at the door, served us brilliantly throughout and explained the safety measures clearly. The food was good and well-cooked for a chain pub restaurant.

Bit of a wait to get in but well spaced out . Don’t seem to do any weekend offers but we enjoyed our visit and food was good for us and still doing the soft drink refills showed no availability on website we phoned booked and got a table no problem

We where very worried about going out for the first time since covid, but we are so happy we did we where met by a very happy bubble gent who explained everything to us and put us at ease, a lovely lady called Stacey sorted our drinks for us all staff where very professional and the food and service was amazing Speisekarte ansehen

It was our 1st day back out as a family so we went to the burton for lunch. We was welcomed at our table by a lovely young lady sadie. The zoner was very polite helpful she 'sadie 'talked us though what we needed to do how it all works. Snice they reopened its more welcoming and staff seem happier to work there. We will be back again.

Visited today for lunch with friends and was really impressed by the welcome and service throughout the visit. We all picked Haddock and chips as it was something we had missed during lockdown, it arrived in good time and it was brilliant. It was the best I have had for years. The staff deserve our thanks as nothing was too much trouble.

This was the first visit since lockdown. I was quite nervous at first. But as soon as I entered, I felt a sense of ease. We were sat down and explained everything to us from the one way system to full table service. Was sat at a table surrounded by screens which for me and my wife was a God send. Food was brilliant, service was excellent. And you can tell that they have been busy during lockdown sprucing the place up. Looks a lot brighter and fresher. Well done Burton House we shall be seeing more of you very soon.

Mixed reviews for this place We had breakfast for two mornings and went for a drink in the evening First morning breakfast was very good well organised breakfast was very quick and enjoyed it that evening just wanted a drink the lady on reception was lovely showed us to a table we had a few drinks feeling safe within new guidelines 2nd morning we had breakfast we were waiting about 20 minutes before anyone took breakfast order (about four groups that came after us had there’s taken and waited at least 45 minutes to receive this meal being pregnant I felt very sick waiting this time for food and rest of my group were not hungry by this time was very disappointed

Went yesterday, had the carvery, that the chefs serve due to covid restrictions , Which is well understandable, Was met on reception by a gentleman who talked so much, we like social and friendly people but this was way over the top, He showed us to a table the smallest in there, it was 3:30 and there was so so many free tables, I said have you any other tables please, this is a squash, he said this is probably the worst table in the house,and moved the screen back, at the back of me, Which gave a tad more room and I mean tad, We waited over 3/4 hour for the carvery, there was literally nobody having it as I went to the toilet and passed it, nobody was there, We got our food and I bet we was...
