Booked table for on Thursday Oct. Happy to see that the pub was busy. Beer very well kept. Staff very welcoming and attentive. Highly recommended.

we took some American friends, as we wanted them to experience a traditional london pub, and we made a good choice. they have several real ales, well kept, and the menu offers qualitatiw high quality pub food

there were some changes to the online booking and the personal was very accum and patient. it was a small key for drinks that was not the case! ends over hours at the buck! We called in on way around the Wellington Barracks . It's an ok place clean n tidy but maybe in need of a refurbishment, Toilets we ok but needing some Maintain. Staff were ok once they'd stopped being over zealous Covid Cops. Drinks were ok...and priced at usual Central London Rates, Around a bottle of beer or same for a pint. Average really, called in on the off chance and had two hot meals. The pub was very quiet, it was however clean and tidy. The food (cod/chips) was ok but the beer was very disappointing. Tried two different types as the first one was so...poor, the second however was no better. The service was also ok, indeed the whole experience was just ok but nothing more. Not really a visit that will live long in the memory or entice me to return.

Well, I must say I needed a food venue that allowed dogs so we could meet up with my daughter and her pooch near Buckingham Palace so I googled. I have a nut allergy and my daughter is vegan. On ringing to check we were...cheerily assured we would be welcomed. Indeed we were! You could not find a more welcoming bearded staff member anywhere (we all agreed he was attentive and delightful). The food was excellent and the fish and chips l chose had the beer for the batter sent up talk about fresh!! This is a pub we will definitely use again and is also a fabulous beer pub for those who enjoy the brown stuff. Thanks to our bearded lovely for a great lunch.

We chose this pub as they are dog friendly and we had such a great meal. Upon arrival, the staff were very friendly and welcomed us with open arms. Our table was ready and they seated us and brought some water over for our dogs....The food was excellent a relatively small menu but everything sounded delicious! We had the burger and the fish and chips and they were fantastic we also had the sausage roll and scotch egg and they were incredible! The staff were friendly without being over-bearing they got the balance just right. We will definitely return here the next time we visit London with our dogs!
