"We ate here our second night in Saumur, and our dinner the previous night was just outstanding, so L'Aromate had a tough act to follow. The appetizers were very good and large, but the entrees were not as good. Three dinner companions had a mystery beef dish - they could not recognize the cut - and I had duck breast which was tough and undercooked. We finished with a trio of desserts that were unusual."

(Suggestion to chef : for kids 2 to 4 years put less “lemon” on vegetables otherwise very nice dish). Front panel of the restaurant near street ; please change it as it look cheap, hard to read and put 2 photos of your dishes as it will greatly improve the amount of customers who will take a table instead moving elsewhere, I think you will see at least +30% increase of customers). This restaurant have really good quality/price. Also excellent service by the young ladies who served us, they had a good balance of being open but not too much, knew when and what to say, very friendly and professional).
