"My wife and I holidayed for a week in France in September 2015, staying in Caen and Alencon. On our first night in France, we ate here. My wife ordered ribs and was told that there none (strange, in such a place). We ordered something else, and shortly after, the waiter returned and said they had found some (again, strange). When the ribs arrived, they comprised a grisly lump of meat, underneath which, and not attached to, was a very large bone, completely bare and inedible. We politely complained about this. The waiter shrugged indifferently and asked if we might like something else. We declined his offer and did not order an alternative item. When paying the bill, I tried to enter into conversation with the cashier, who could not speak a word of English. The four other staff members present similarly had absolutely no English. Communication was therefore impossible. I got a small reduction on the bill but still feel that we were treated badly, deliberately. My French is quite basic but we have managed satisfactorily on previous holidays in France, and have eaten in other Buffalo Grill outlets. The grill chef saw us at the cash desk and smiled as he cooked a large amount of ribs!I see from previous critical reviews that our experience was not was not unique. No excuse for treatment like this."

This Buffalo Grive was very nice - food good, service good and attentive. Not fine dining, but was everything I would expect a buffalo grill to be.

This Buffalo Grill is the best we have ever visited, Friendly staff, easy parking, the food was very good, piping hot which is unusual for France! Thouroughly reccomend a visit if your in the area.

We wanted a quick meal before returning to our hotel in Quistreham and we decided to try this restaurant. When we arrived there were no other customers though the restaurant claimed to serve god all day. We wondered whether the meal would be OK. It actually turned out to be very good. The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed our meal. The diners who came inlaterwere all French and local.

As we were staying next door at the Premiere Classe hotel, we took the opportunity to walk over and try the Buffalo Grill.Having been to several BG establishments across France we knew what to expect and the food was tasty and well done.Biggest let down were several female members of staff who were generally having off days and didn't convey the feeling that they were happy with their jobs.

Went here for food when having an overnight stop on the way to Carnac from Dover Food was OK. Though we didn't get the complementary bread rolls and salad. The main meals came quite quick and all cooked ok. My steak kebab on the mixed grill was a bit rubbery but edible. All other 7 family members loved there food. Prices ok. Waitress was very helpful with the menu and all orders came back correct.

It was a pleasant dinner with my friends. In the first place, we had been offered by a welcome salad which is not likely to be seen in other Buffalo Grill. Although the food was very great and the staffs are nice and friendly, we had got a hella long wait to be served. Plus, I had troubles with the rest room. There was no toilet papers and the toilet was stuck. About the food, the price was quite a good deal.

We stopped for a burger fix and found them to be pretty good for Europe but still well behind a good American burger. A nice touch is that they served a salad before the meal as a starter. Also got a small bowl of almost inedible popcorn but I did appreciate the gesture. Avoid the ratatouille as it was mediocre. Had a very nice selection of desserts but we were too full to try one. Service was very good and our server spoke enough English to take good care of us.

For those of you who have read my review of the Buffalo Grill in Bordeaux, Normal Service has been resumed. At Bordeaux we didn't receive a complementary salad and the medium cooked steak was almost raw.At Mondeville we received the service we have come to expect from Buffalo Grill. The meats were all well cooked. The service was very good and the staff were very pleasant. The complementary salad was fresh and the bread was hot.I will probably give the Bordeaux outlet a miss but I will definitely be back at the Mondeville one.

Went for an evening meal here. Not a very nice meal at all. Ok if you want everything deep fried. The salad they bought out at the start of the meal was shocking, the lettuce was brown and the bowl it arrived in was just taken straight out of the fridge. So god knows how long it was in the fridge before it arrived at are table. The staff well they didn't say or do anything. Was shown to are table and handed the menu and left to it for 15 mins or so before she came for are drink orders. wouldn't of minded but we were the only people in there! The burgers for are main meal were ok but nothing special. On the whole not a very good meal at all and we will not be returning :(

"Restaurant in a warm setting and where you feel good. On the other hand, we rarely saw such a shipping server: called recited dishes at all speeds and did not even have time to hear our question that it had already gone. I never asked if the meal was going well, not even at the end of the meal where it was only to reach the payment terminal without saying a word if it is a final "good-bye"... It may not have been his day but it makes the experience unpleasant. This can happen, but we also found two pieces of food wire in a canelloni. Too bad because some dishes were excellent. PS: I can't answer the following owner's message, so I do it here: This is your establishment, we took the menu in 7 movements on Saturday, December 11 at 7:30 p.m. The exact name might not be canelloni but it was a plant aviole in which there were two small transparent threads. To confirm that it was your restaurant, we also ate: emulsion egg with truffle (delicious), focaccia, sacred jacques in several kitchens with radish, foie gras cooked in a pot of juice with fire, rice with smoked milk (delicious), carpaccio mushroom and pork play if I'm not mistaken, etc. Saké as first agreement, etc. The main dish was 'a great chicken man' as we described the master of the hotel when we asked him the name of the dish and that he did not take the time to return to the repeat table. I confirm his behavior more than limit. One of the waitresses also served us twice was very pleasant and professional. I can call you if you need further explanations."
