Cafe Del Mundo - Speisekarte

The coffee is good, with plastic chairs outside adding a certain charm. I enjoy the grubbiness of this place, reminiscent of how London sandwich bars used to be.

It is an old fashioned cafe but if you don't want to eat your breakfast at the Hilton Olympia (nice hotel where I was staying) across the road then come here. Great food selection. And great coffee.

Unpretentious, 80's decor, no outwards selling points really other than the above. Excellent felafel wrap, fresh squeezed orange juice, good coffee. Went back for afternoon snack. I think places like this are disappearing in London. Shame. Speisekarte ansehen

The first time I went service and food was excellent so I suggested it as a Christmas get together. We were seated downstairs. Must admit second time around service was slow food was not as good and we were seated upstairs so maybe different staff

It’s not often in London that you get something for nothing. The very nice owner didn’t have decaf tea and made a cup with one of my own bags. I offered to pay but he didn’t want to take my money. 5 star service deserves a 5 star review. Thank you.

After attending a concert across the street, I decided to try out this cafe for the first time. Unfortunately, it was a complete disappointment. I paid £8 for 2 long lamb shish and chips, but the portion size was too small and the food was disgusting. I regret not realizing sooner that the facilities were also dirty. During my visit to the restaurant, I discovered hair in my food. When I brought it to the owner's attention, his response was, "You just want a refund, don't you?" The attitude displayed was even more unsatisfactory than the quality of the food. I declined the offer for a refund, suggesting that the £5 could be used to benefit their business instead. I left feeling extremely disappointed with the experience, as the situation was completely unacceptable.

We popped in here at lunchtime after a disappointing Ideal Home Exhibition luckily we got free tickets! This place is just amazing. It's tiny with about 20 tables inside but they do sandwiches, paninis, jacket potatoes, salads, cakes, samosas and much more. I had the most wonderful Napoleon cake it's apparently French and is flaky pastry filled with a creamy custardy filling similar to a Tarte Tropezienne that you get in France. My partner had a long sausage shaped cake filled with marzipan paste. Our coffees were strong and hot which warmed us up. Go there!

I went there to eat and was not so impressed with the service, since seriously. We ordered samosa baguettes and vegetarian that was cold despite being superficial and the first tea is served with the tea bag and nowehere to put it and the second cup served with the milk already added although one of us did not drink tea and the other mike only wanted a little... it was not exactly with a smile and so I did not have fun. I thought it was dirty and the staff seemed ruthless. I would never stay here again, as it was not worth the price and it was not a good food or service. It has no character or personality.
