"What can I say Brewer’s house is an absolute one off for the Tyrone mid Ulster area. If you received the food you get here in one of Ireland or the UK’s top hotels or city restaurants it would not be out of place at all. The chef deserves some credit; all the meat is cooked to perfection, the desserts are to die for! It is well worth every penny, and so it should be a bit more expensive than other restaurants in the region, it shows through time and time again. We went midweek and it was busy, the indoor decor upstairs is beautiful. We had the beef and the hake, fantastic flavors. The desserts were some of the best I’ve ever had baked Alaska and lemon tart surrounded by Italian gooey meringue. The service was top notch also and always with a smile. Keep doing what you’re doing!!"

"Called into Gables restaurant yesterday for dinner. Arrived at 4 at which time dinner menu had just started. We ordered chicken supreme x 2 one with chips one dauphinoise potatoes one with mushroom sauce one with peppered sauce. After 45 mins our main meal arrived with 2 x chips 2 x peppered sauce on the side. I told the waitress it was wrong she made some excuse they messed up in the kitchen. I asked her to change it to our previous order after 10 mins by which time our main meal was stone cold they still got it wrong. I asked them to take away the food to speak to the manager. He was rude unapologetic made no effort to make amends. In fact when we were leaving he said have a nice evening in a very sarcastic tone. Totally unprofessional manner by him the waitress will definitely not be returning in future"

"Today we visited the Millwheel for lunch. We were looking for a place with easy access and nearby parking, and this place delivered on both fronts. We chose a table by the window and selected our meals from the fantastic and diverse menu. I ordered the chicken, cheese, and bacon wrap with BBQ sauce and a side of garlic potato cubes, while my partner opted for the southern fried chicken gujon ciabatta with pepper sauce and a side of salad. Both dishes were delicious and satisfying. We asked for a jug of water and a Fanta Lemon, which were quickly brought to our table and served extra cold to combat the warm summer weather. My partner particularly enjoyed the salad, noting its excellent quality. The staff were amazing - very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. To top it off, we were given scones and a slice of chocolate cake to take home. All of this came to under £20.00, making it exceptional value. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning soon. A big thank you to the staff for a lovely meal."

"A friend and I had been looking forward to having a meal and catching up. Had forgotten there’s no waiting area downstairs and no obvious sign of a lift, so my friend went back to reception and spoke to the lady, who was lovely and said we could go straight to our table. Restaurant was half empty, so this is obviously a way of getting you to buy a drink before dinner? Can’t see any other reason. We were shown our menu and then a man came to take our order and basically preempted everything we were going to say and we both felt it was like a race to order ASAP and when asked if the chicken fillet with string onions and sauce came with champ, it was an abrupt no, so we had to order sides to accompany our mains. So we had of the chicken main courses, sides and soft drinks for Felt it was expensive for a mediocre meal experience. The waiting staff (who were nice) seemed under pressure and we could relate. Don’t think we will be rushing back. Oh the lady at reception gave us a big cheery goodbye and she apologised for being asked to sit upstairs."

"I recently ordered takeout dinner from this restaurant and I was extremely impressed. The price per person was affordable, falling in the range of £1-10. Both the food and service were outstanding, receiving a 5-star rating from me. The atmosphere of the restaurant also scored high marks with a rating of 5. I highly recommend trying the Fish Supper, as it was one of the recommended dishes on the menu."
