Cafe Obrigado - Speisekarte

Very friendly staff and good food (both the cafe and the pub). The rustic interior is lovely. Is worth to make a detour.

Came here with friends and had a really nice evening. The staff couldn’t be more accommodating and when learning we were vegetarians offered a number of options not on the menu, which they freshly made. Good value too.

We stoped here for a take away bacon butty on the way through to Innerleithen mtb trails and it was a treat! we had several of them Sunday morning annd they were excellent all round and £1.50 each.... how good was that?

I visit here every time i am passing through. It has eccentric opening hours, but the service is wonderful, the portions massive and great value and the food, whilst not exotic is wonderfully prepared and exceptionally tasty. .

Love this place! The food is delicious and great value for money. The staff are attentive, polite, warm and friendly. I’ve dined here with family and with friends and have never been even slightly disappointed. Simply wonderful!!!

Stopped in for pre arranged booking of breakfast for 9 of us on way home from our holiday in Gordon. Lovely full cooked breakfast well presented and tasty with mushrooms beans bacon sausage eggs etc. wee extras lots of jam and toast and nice tall glass of cold fruit juices. Wonderful coffee! Wee gem of a place! Fantastic service with very accommodating and helpful owner.

Has a lovely Sunday roast here on a wee lunch date with a friend. Tender tasty beef with all the trimmings, delicious. Had a cheesecake for desert which was out of this world. White chocolate and caramel, with mixed nuts. I could have eaten three bits to myself. I love coming to this place. The staff are always so friendly, and I think it's great that they allow dogs in.

My friend and I where passing Cafe Obrigado and decided to pop in for lunch. We got a lovely warm welcome from the lady who served us. I just wanted something light, so I had a nice fresh light salad, but I also got chips which where delicious and plenty of them. The cook was also very friendly and had great banter with the locals which was endearing. Nice beer garden also. Great value also. Highly recommend.

Have passed through the village of Gordon numerous times and have always wanted to call in to Cafe Obrigado. Finally managed to do so today and was not disappointed. Warmly welcomed on arrival, the menu offers an excellent choice of food and I defy anyone not to be able to find something to suit their taste. We had heard good things about the beef burgers so decided to try them. Absolutely delicious! The meat was succulent and tasty, the chips were cooked to perfection and the homemade coleslaw was the best I’ve ever had. It is a little haven in a very quiet, unassuming Scottish Borders village and we will definitely be back in the very near future.
