"I am extremely dissatisfied with the dining experience at Café Rouge, particularly the very poor service we received. The staff rushed us, cleared plates when members of the party were still eating, failed to bring water despite numerous requests, placed the bill infront of us without having asked for it , provided us with dirty glasses, provided overcooked steak (medium steak was cooled well done!! and poured wine without asking if we would like to taste , all of which were very embarassing when we were on a business lunch with a client . I would like it brought to the attention of the st katherines dock branch that their service levels are very poor and we will not be returning due to this"

I used a £10 wine and dine deal at this restaurant. I would have been disappointed if it had been more expensive, but the deal was good for the price. I would like to come back and try something different from the menu next time.

I recently went to this restaurant on a Saturday evening. The food was delicious, and we sat at a table by the window with a great view of the docklands. When we arrived for our booking for 10 people, we were informed the kitchen and it wouldn't be open for another 45 minutes. Far from ideal with young children and frustrated not to have been made aware prior to our arrival. Poor form. Thankfully a restaurant nearby was able to accommodate us.

The food was very good ...but beware as they charge for everything. If they ask do you want bead ... they charge. They without asking us put a small bowl of olives and pickles on our table ... we ate very few of them ... but were charged. The server had to ask us what we ate in order to split the bill.
