"This was recommended by the B&B we were staying at Can Seuba . Felt ripped off because our B&B did the reservation for us and did not tell us what it will be. We did not expect that it will be a tasting menu of most of the food they offer on the menu. All of it really is they served and divided the food into small plates between 4 of us in the family and make it look gourmet like. We didnt get to choose if we want to order a la carte, but instead we sat down and the food just kept on coming. We were so stuffed by the third plate. Next thing we know, we were paying over 120 euros. To make the matters worse, its definitely not the quality that we 've paid. The ambiance was great and the service was good BUT the food is MEDIOCRE with a nice plating. Such a shame. Not sure why the previous reviews were so great. Baba ganoush didnt have the smokey flavor of the eggplant, guacamole on their salad had no spice to it, the massaman curry was watery not thick like what you expect on a curry. Most of the dishes were too salty with no spice, like their egg dish. Their desserts were nothing special, one was a watermelon juice that they freezed and blended. The chocolate and vanilla dessert tasted like they were store bought. This restaurant got potential. It is homecooking not a gourmet restaurant which they try to portray. They got some international dishes but they do not come close to what they should really taste like lacking the spices? . Its a new establishment and we 're the guinea pigs. Give it time, maybe they 'll change their concept and lower down their prices to what they are really worth."
