"Visited this restaurant as it was immediately next to our hotel and so glad we did. I’d seen some of the reviews saying negative things about the decor or food and I honestly can not understand why. It’s a little family run Trattoria and looks...as such, clean, well maintained but rustic, perfect for the style. The staff, from Carlos, to all the waiters are excellent, friendly, helpful, attentive, and fun. Everything you want from a family run Italian. We ordered some wine and the mixed starter. Both were excellent, and we made it clear we were in no rush and to take time between courses. The specials boards were full with excellent choices, as is the menu, and we chose a combination between us of both to ensure we had the full 4 course Italian experience (heads up it’s a traditional Italian so pastas and meats but not pizza). Food and wine continued to flow and we opted for deserts which were all homemade and superb, tiramisu was a stand out. Before we knew it we were the last ones left at the end of the evening at around 23:00. They didn’t rush us out but rather told us to relax and finish our food and wine. If I lived local I would visit this place regularly and recommend anyone in the area pop in and pay them a visit."

we have booked for a party of 12 and enjoyed our visit very much, in which the only possible critique was that the menu let us pamper for the choice. welcome, service, eat all excellent. can not recommend very enough.

I guess I shouldn’t have chosen roast in an Italian restaurant, it’s not what they do. It was thin slices of cold meat that had been warmed up in gravy, so no taste! So order lasagne but never roast pork or beef. Rest of meal...delicious.

we were blown away from the quality, presentation and taste of food here. I finished 3 courses - this is rare! with friendly staff and warm atmosphere we had a wonderful evening! pity that we live so far; this would be our favorite restaurant otherwise.

The food and the staff were exemplary, I have lived in the area for years, but have never ventured to Carlos before, I have certainly missed a trick. All the food, starters and main were fabulous. I had the Steak Rosini, which was soo tender....Thanks All at Carlos.

carlo and bonnie are just superstars! all my guests have traveled over the delicious food and drinks during my man's birthday surprise. they were so courteous and friendly at the birthday preparations. my man, family and friends had one. pleasant evening. the quality of the food was divine and the portions were perfect. compliments to the chef and to the friendly waiters and of course the barmen! Thank you again. We'll come back to dinner!

Today I took my family of 6 (2 Adults 4 children aged 12,10,7 and 5) for an evening meal as we where staying just up the road and boy are we so glad that we did. A wonderful family friendly restaurant with amazing staff who...genuinely want you to have an amazing experience at their restaurant! 2 off my kids had the bambino menu what great value and very tasty too, my boys (10&12) ate of the adults menu and throughly enjoyed it as did the wife and I lots of choice and an excellent specials board accompanying the main menu. Definitely returning before we go back home huge round of applause
