Carluccio's - Speisekarte

The food, service and attention to detail was vastly poorer than my usual carluccios at gunwharf Portsmouth- will not visit the Southampton one again

We’ve been to Carluccios Southampton lots of times and we’ll keep coming back. Good food, Good service. Enough said. You should try it. You won’t be disappointed.

It was freezing cold. There was an awful draft coming from the ceiling. We were moved to another section which was not so cold. The food was OK but nothing special. Speisekarte ansehen

We really enjoyed the food but they were not well informed about The Fork menu. Were told at first we couldn't have the set menu until I showed them on my phone. I think you need to keep these larger chains more up to date.

My Bruschetta was disappointing, as it was just a small slice of toasted bread topped with a pile of various tomatoes without much else. The Veganesca Spaghetti and my partner's Sea Bass were better dishes, but the presentation of all the plates was lacking. Overall, I would recommend the Gunwharf Portsmouth restaurant over the one at West Quay, Southampton.

Was looking forward to eating at Carluccio's but sadly the set menu advertised on the website wasn't available, and had been replaced with an Easter Special which actually worked out more expensive for two courses than just buying the same from the a la carte menu. The food was adequate, but when I ordered the sweet the bread pudding wasn't available, my second choice the limoncello tart also wasn't available. To be honest, when I discovered the set menu wasn't available I was tempted to leave, but as the only choice would have been the stupidly busy food court I decided to stay. Actually, now I wish I had just gone home. The service was good though,, so no complaint there. Speisekarte ansehen
