"Only stopped for a beer but have to give five stars because it was the only place open in the whole town to eat in the afternoon. Yes, I know that Italians eat very late, but come on guys, NOBODY else does, and you're a tourist town. There were hoards of starving tourists wandering the street like zombies, everyone dying of starvation at 6pm, with two hours until the first restaurant might open if they feel like it. The staff at Casa Vela were doing everything they could to keep everyone alive! Excellent service."

unique place between the ski streets, friendly staff and always with the smile. We took a spritz at the bergamot, bruschette, and potatoes with scamorza and bacon... all special! to go back absolutely and if you're in a fool and haven't come yet, you have to try it absolutely. the smile of the staff is the best business card! Congratulations!

magnificent place, very friendly and welcoming staff, available in all and so much patience with my daughter, who had become their mascot. breakfast well served and rich of everything...of course chianalea is all uphill, therefore full of stairs...but really a lovely place, the alleys on the sea, the castle reached on foot, as well as the ski beach. Thanks again for these beautiful days together
