Piatti di pesce nella buona tradizione Calabrese serviti praticamente sul mare e tanto altro per soddisfare chiunque . Andrete via controvoglia con la promessa di ritornare, stregati ormai dallo sguardo profondo, intenso e sincero di Santina. E il tatto? Provate durante la cena ad affondare i piedi nudi nella sabbia..."

"We really enjoyed our evening at this restaurant, and must admit it was one of our favourite meals in our two week trip In Italy. The service was very good despite the waiters not speaking much English. The food was amazing. I had the tuna carpaccio and lobster ravioli, and my boyfriend had the seafood salad and seafood pasta. Everything was delicious and very reasonably priced. The only issue with this restaurant is that you don’t have the beautiful sea views that restaurants across the street have. A small trade off for the excellent quality and service that you’ll get here. We ate at Glauco the next night and found the service and ambiance to be much nicer at this quaint little restaurant. Be sure to make a reservation because it got packed towards 9pm!"

"I've been on board eating in this place! Well it turns out that they make the sandwich with swordfish better than Scilla and how could I not pass? There are pros and cons for this place. A counter is that of the places, rightly in the middle of summer it is difficult to find a nice place in their outdoor terrace where you can eat because there is always an immense row, but I must say it is worth doing this whole row! Unfortunately for the rush we were satisfied to stay inside where there are only 2 tables, but we were in a hurry. The service can be said to be good, sometimes the waiters do not see you or are very distracted and do not calculate you often, but we have found ourselves well. Another thing against it is also the fact that they do not take away, we would have loved to take the sandwich and go to eat it maybe on the beach or on the street. We ate this sandwich and we were really amazed by its goodness, it is really what people say that is one of the best places where you can eat the famous sandwich with swordfish. Surely to return with pleasure!"

"Went to this resturant without having read any reviews, which had we read any there would have been a good possibility that would have chosen to go there. However our experience could not be further from those of the previous reviewers. We were a party of ten when we arrived the resturant was empty except for one table, for an inexplicable reason we were shown upstairs to an equally empty room. We made our orders and then we heard a lot of noise coming from downstairs. The anti-pasti arrived which in fairness I must say was fine. Then the main courses arrived, one of which was wrong and two other dishes were still to arrive, which meant three of our party were without dishes. However the vegetables ordered to accompany the missing dishes did arrive. One of the missing dishes was for steak and when it arrived, it was hardly warm and it was rejected and after about 20 minutes it was eventually replaced with a steak of exactly the same temperature, this was not eaten. When the waiter was challenged about this, from our limited understanding of Italian, he said that in the south of Italy the meat is not very good. If this was case why on earth would they put steak on the menu. The other two missing dishes were for fillet of fish in a lemon sauce, which arrived over 15 minutes later than the rest of food, why it took so long was a mystery. We decided to finish our meal and went down stairs to pay our bill, only to find that the majority of the tables were now full, with local male diners who we're watch the football on the TV. I was left with the distinct impression that we foreigners we seated out of the way and it was a case of out of sight out of mind"

"Situato nella parte alta di Scilla dalla quale è possibile ammirare il panorama , si trova questo piccolo ma maestoso 'Street good ' , dove l abbondanza e la qualità del cibo non mancano. Siamo stati accolti bene nonostante bisognasse prenotare, poiché il locale ha pochi posti, nonostante ciò abbiamo mangiato un primo piatto del giorno consigliato da loro che si è rivelata davvero una delizia per il palato e una frittura di pesce altrettanto squisita. Peccato averlo trovato l ultima sera altrimenti avremmo cenato lì di nuovo con estremo piacere .. rapporto qualità prezzo direi più che ottimo.. Prenotate e non ve ne pentirete."
