Came across this restaurant in the outskirts of Milan while looking for a traditional Italian culinary experience with a modern twist. We were not disappointed by the location, a renovated old farm in the province of Pavia, or the food, great execution by the chef and some interesting novelty twist. What really ruined the experience was the attitude of the servers, the two owners, that tried to push on us expensive Costata 4 times.. or when they tried to push desserts to inflate the bill of a couple that simply chose to go for an entree and a main. This is a restaurant that tries to be too many things at once: a gourmet restaurant, a pizzeria, a grill and a burger restaurant! One wishes they would just pick one thing and stick with it. The drawback of such an extensive and varied menu is that food doesn 't come to the table at the same time. Our table ordered a mix of the gourmet menu and the pizza and food delivery was out of synch: strangely, the pizza took longer to prepare than the rest. Having said that, the food is good, in fact it 's very good.
