First thing that got me was the surly, unfriendly welcome from the very entry. drinks came after our food. good food Terrible service

We first visited in 2005 , which was our introduction to Vietnamese cuisine. The food is just as good now as it was then and the staff are lovely!

Decent food, mildly aggressive service I ordered a pho dish, it was decent enough and light in flavour however the eating conditions were cramped bordering Speisekarte ansehen

My friends and I visited Cay Tre Shoreditch on a Thursday evening after work. The food was incredible, full of flavor. While the service could have been more attentive, we enjoyed the food so much that we plan on returning.

Really enjoyed my experience at Cay Tre. The menu sounded so good I really struggled to choose something but I went with the Hanoi BBQ Pork vermicelli bowl and tofu summer rolls, and everything was absolutely delicious. My friend ordered the chicken royale and garlic and egg fried rice which was equally tasty. The portions were very generous for the price and we really enjoyed ourselves. Will definitely be back at either this branch or soho!

This is an authentic Vietnamese restaurant which provided excellent food for our lunch. It is also very good value, but don't go for the décor. I love Vietnamese beef (marinated in oyster sauce) and this one did not disappoint. My wife had the mackerel dish, which did not look much but was also very tasty. We also recommend the egg and garlic rice and the mango salad with prawns. The staff were very friendly and we were even offered a free drink when they found out it was my birthday. It’s our another visit to Cay Tre Hoxton. We really loved the place in Soho: amazing service, attentive staff, more options to choose from. In the restaurant on the Old street service is not up to standard from greeting to suggestions what to choose or just throughout dinning experience. We have ordered different dishes, and two of them Original Pho and Sate Pho. We have been waiting for more than 20 minutes before we was served. When chef brought pho there was no apologies for the delay, no offer of complimentary from the restaurant. Staff don’t know what to do or say in situations like that. The experience at this restaurant was disappointing from the moment we arrived. The staff seemed disinterested and we had to wave at them to get their attention. Our starters were served haphazardly, with some arriving at the same time as our main courses. When we asked why the service was so slow (approximately 30 minutes), we were told the kitchen was busy. It would have been helpful if they had informed us of this so we could understand the delay. Additionally, when we ordered water, the waiter brought it but forgot to bring glasses, forcing us to call out to him. Despite requesting plates for sharing our food, they were not provided. I went here with my two sons for one of their Birthdays. We sat downstairs in the basement which was ok but getting any type of service was terrible. We were there for 45 minutes before we got any drinks at all. When I looked around everyone seemed to have empty glasses with nothing to drink not even water one lady walked upstairs to get some water herself to bring to the table. Our starter came 45 minutes after being seated and the drinks were still not there after reminding them a couple of times they arrived.
