Had a great evening here, sampled a number of wonderful tapas including squid, chicken and cheese. The sangria was first class, great value jug. The atmosphere was warm, the service good and the value outstanding.

Aunque habíamos reservado dos mesas en la terraza nos dijeron que teníamos que esperar que se vaciaran. Creo que si tienes una mesa reservada, cuando llegues, tiene que ser para ti. Así que estamos sentados media hora después.

We were a group and they treated us very well, they put us in the room very quiet and spacious. We ate great and at a correct price for quality/cantity. the ham was good Iberian and the tapas were of quality. We have wine, beers and drinks at the end, very complete service. Speisekarte ansehen

Cerquita del metro Ibiza y enfrente del parque del retiro (la entrada de la biblioteca), raciones y platos de toda la vida, los arroces se pueden pedir individuales y eso se agradece bastante. Los camareros de toda la vida y eficientes. Siempre con bastante clientela. Los precios son de la zona eso si.

My wife and I found this bar after a delightful walk in Retiro Park. We had planned to visit a local restaurant. However we thoroughly enjoyed the food in this traditional Spanish bar. Excellent draft beer and tapas. Food from the menu was good quality. The staff were very attentive and the bar was immaculate. In summary a genuinely nice bar restaurant.

On our way to El Retiro we decided to stop for dinner at any of the restaurants on this avenue, and chose this one. Ordered Morcilla de burgos to share and Merluza en salsa verde, great dishes!! A bottle of wine and finished dinner with a glass of spanish brandy!....excelent food, great service and fair prices!. If you happen to be in the area you should pay a visit!. Speisekarte ansehen

I walked into this place because it was New Years day and all of Madrid was closed. It was a happy accident because it was a truly authentic experience. This place is filled with the elders of Madrid. It's like walking into a senior citizen's center, but they know what they're doing. The food was fresh and delicious. We had the jamon, the patatas, and the churros. Amazing prices, interesting atmosphere and great food!

before strolling through the retreat I had a breakfast in this beautiful terrace near the ibiza street. they have many breakfast options and the attention was correct and friendly. I chose a coffee with milk and a goodisima tortilla, at its joto point and without being too made.) without doubt finding a place outside the terrace is sometimes complicated but rather the option inside the place. I'll be back any other time.

Un buen sitio para comer raciones, de platos típicos. Frente al retiro, lo que le hace que casi siempre esté muy concurrido. Los precios de las raciones están en relación con la cantidad que ponen. Si nos falto que al pedir, que no sabíamos tamaños ni nada,nos hubiesen ofrecido la posibilidad de pedir medias raciones(en la carta no lo indica y si se puede) Éramos dos y ensaladilla, salmorejo y solomillo es bastante comida.
