"Leave aside the food. But the overall customer service was horrible. The lady at the counter(one with complete scarf) was quite obnoxious. She reflected nil courtesy towards the customers. Also one of the customer was physically disable and unwillingly he opened the door aggressively, towards which she was quite crossed. These servers must be given proper training on how to treat customers before allowing them to take over. Overall a horrible experience. I have always loved chaiiwala and I often visit the branches at Evington Road and City Centre, however, this branch was a complete turn off."

Cute and small place for food, had the breakfast. Staff were lovely and helpful when it came to catering to intolerences. There were constant flow of delivery drivers coming so it seems popular. Food was good, the type where you'd go if you happen to pass by and were super hungry but not somewhere you'd choose to go.

I was served by Naina who was polite and engaging and clearly knew the value of good service. I equally know what good service is and will come back when we are next in Leicester . it is always a difficult balance as expectations vary considerably but my observations of Naina with other customers indicates she has the right balance. we had the Desi breakfast in both variants 1 with daal other with spicy beans curry with masala omelette. roti and tee I usually go for the saffron tee, which has a nice taste, the tee is amazing here it is 1 of the best mugs around. the snack they do is very good, always consistently good and fresh. they have a great choice when snacky Indian small teller that perfectly go with their signature house tee they go for karak chaii or saffron chaii they will not be disappointed.
