Thanks for great service, fresh food, large portions and nice atmosphere. Wonderful view. We had great lunch with salade gourmand, onion soup, caprese, tagliatelle. Tres bien!

most likely the best place to lunch during the day close to the center of val thorens only in the middle of sloop. large portions for very reasonable prices. And do not forget that big dogs (lord and another) are looking for their attention...and a part of the meal:

We had stops here for hot wine. It was great, maybe the best that we drink during our vacation. So we decided to have our lunch here. That was our mistake. Pasta was terrible. Burger was bad. We ordered some mozzarella but they don't...have it. So my opinion you should stay here for hot wine or quick meal like panini or pancakes.

we are around, so there were many tables that choose from inside with a view of the abyss of the valley. service was prompt and eating was nice. many other places that do not even invite an salad with lunch, but we...follow this was good quality, tasty and cheap for val thorens. we would have liked to have offered more drinks during the meal, but that was the only negative

The food and flavors are 5 star, but it can be too busy with slow service. We have eaten there several times and will continue to return. The atmosphere is 5 star, a large deck with a view. The interior is wonderful French mountain antiques. But the best part is the flavors and quality of the food. Often French mountain restaurants all taste the same. Not this one. Congratulations to the chef.

we thought for a fast hot koko and decided to share a fresh house made pasta with smoked salmon. no hot koko, but the dish was nice and warm, fresh and creamy with a lot of laughs in it. it was full of people in the midday. So it was a bit loud and since the entrance is small, they have people walking around to find tables and it is a bit crowded. no place to relax, romantic lunch. but perfect for a quick stop.

unfortunately I have friends here for lunch with nice lunch here in the past. we came, although it was very busy, out there were many tables inside. we were shown to a table when a waiter gave the menus. have taken our beverage order, we said we know what we want to eat, but he said he would come back for our food order. we need to wait minutes until our order is taken, were very close after we waited a few minutes for our food. a court came cold, but we were so excited to starve until this time we did not complain. the kitchen staff could obviously not cope with the crowd of people. unfortunately will not be very disappointed.

Based on local recommendations went here twice in the last week of the season. First for coffee in bad weather. At this occasion the service was excellent. The kids enjoyed the hot chocolate an the crepes. The second was lunch on the last day of the season. This was a poor experience. There was only one waiter for the entire outside terrace.I ordered the same as the table next to me. They had a plate and a large salad. According to the waiter this was choucroute, but when it arrived it was on a different plate and without salad. Given the long wait I decided to let it go. The kids wanted to have crêpes, but these were no longer available as it was the last day of the season.The food was ok,...

On our last day out of six in les 3 valleys we passed up all of the pizza and standard fare at the bottom of the hill in Val Thorens and found our way up to the Chalet Des 2 Ours. Needless to say my wife was approaching insane hangrey levels so we were eating at this one regardless. Low and behold I had actually made the right decision on this one!We were welcomed at the door by David who was playing both host and waiter and though it was still right at the end of the lunch rush he found us a spot at the end of a table ( which is great with all the associated ski gear ).
