Lovely pub, friendly staff great food. Under new management/chefs you can most definitely see the difference in the meals taste, brilliant turnaround. The manager Dan really takes pride in making sure you enjoy your visit. Our son absolutely loves the play park there too.

great place for a meal! eating is delicious, service is fast and our server (chloe) was friendly, bubbly and let us welcome. if they would be highly recommended, they will have plenty of parking spaces with EV charging points and the outside of the building looks inviting.

Even though they were under staffed that day, they were excellent. Quick and speedy service. They catered to my son's milk allergy and were all round really friendly. The establishment itself was very well presented and had a good child's play area. Will be visiting again! Speisekarte ansehen

This is a lovely pub with friendly staff and excellent food. Since coming under new management, the quality of the meals has noticeably improved—it's a fantastic turnaround. The manager, Dan, takes great pride in ensuring that guests enjoy their experience. Our son also really enjoys the play area.

Been twice now and the food has been excellent both times. My wife and I visited midweek for lunch. The staff were very accommodating, the atmosphere was great. The Sunday Dinners are very good, presented well on the plate. We visited as a group of three families, we were seated together and the food arrived together. Chalkhill Blue is fast becoming one of my favourite places to visit.

This is a fantastic restaurant! The staff are wonderful and the service is excellent. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is pleasant, and there are plenty of options, including vegan dishes and a children's menu. While I wasn't particularly fond of the vegan burger—though that may just be a matter of personal taste—my husband's lasagna was excellent, and the kids really enjoyed their meals. To celebrate a 70th birthday meal a couple of request and it was no hassle, Wow incredible meal mixed grill as you asked for, warm welcoming to the place music in background really relaxing environment staff so friendly and willing to talk instead of rushing off big shout out to Daniel and Tracey and their team definitely will be returning also like to mention the outside is nice and tidy give the place a good feeling

Our experience at chalk hill blue was friendly, warm and welcoming from the moment we set foot through the door. Lydia, our server, was very informative and executed her server duties to a high standard. Lydia was professional, patient and polite with good knowledge of the menu. The food was fantastic, it came out piping hot and fresh with lots of flavour and generous portion sizes. The pudding was also well presented and everything came out within a good amount of time. The premises was cl an, warm and open.

I recently celebrated a 70th birthday at this restaurant, and it was a delightful experience. The mixed grill was fantastic, and there was no excessive fuss about it—just a truly wonderful meal. The warm ambiance created by the local music in the background made for a relaxing environment. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to chat.
