Staff very welcoming and friendly, meal excellent . A big shout out for Lexi, Louis and Jake. They were excellent and their service was superb.

This place feels more like a restaurant than a pub. The tables are nicely spaced out, so it doesn't feel cramped or loud. There's a good variety of choices on the menu, and the food is delicious, hot, and fresh. The service is rigidly efficient. I would definitely recommend this place and will be going again.

Reasonable pub food, but it's the service that wins every time at this eatery. I had a problem with the meal I had ordered and the waitress and manager didn't pause in replacing my dinner with good grace. The welcome is warm (even in a crowded restaurant in the run up to Christmas) the attention is prompt and the whole place, as a result, has a great buzz!

My family and I went out for a meal and were shocked by the way one staff member was mistreating their coworker. Our server, Jake, was incredibly kind and attentive, doing a great job despite the manager piling on tasks. It was difficult to see him being treated poorly. This place offers typical pub food. It’s more expensive than typical pubs, more akin to a dedicated premium restaurant. That said, the food was tasty, served quickly and the place was busy. What was also surprising was that it closed early (10pm) on a week night. People were being turned away; disappointing for the potential customers and missed opportunity to stay open and obtain more business.

I visited previously with friends and did have a small problem with the food not being hot enough. It was resolved really well and without fuss by Lydia and two completely fresh meals provided. Because of that, we went again today and had a lovely meal, with Lydia again being the perfect host. We will definitely be back. We also had a 30% off mains voucher this time so it was also great value for money for a mid week treat.

The staff at the restaurant were friendly and provided good service, but it seemed like they were understaffed as the cook was also waiting on tables, which may have contributed to the lukewarm temperature of the food. I ordered the pie, which was hot but lacking in filling. The vegetables were also lukewarm, leading me to believe they had been sitting out while the pie was being cooked. The waitress offered to bring me hotter vegetables, but by the time they arrived, the pie would have gone cold. The prices charged at this restaurant should warrant hot food, but unfortunately, that was not the case during my visit. Speisekarte ansehen
