"the group malmaison hotel has just launched its new sunday brunch menu “Mal am Sonntag” and will be available across all 12 of the groups boutique hotel chain. I ended up in the malmaison in barbican a hidden gem in a beautiful quiet part of this industrial area. the hotel in the interior is very modern, located in its boutique feel and oozes luxury. unfortunately we didn't stay here, but we went down to the restaurant. they call this new menu a brunch, but it's more of a banquet, I can't remember the last time that I ate this much in a session (not that I sit for two though I once). for £19.95 you will get the suppe of the day, hors d’oeuvres from the kitchen table, which is an upscale buffet style with unlimited visit very dangerous. and finally you dessert. for those with a kater they do a big **** mary, and also the champagne bellini was very well made. the suppe was mushroom and estragon, I always seemed"

Myself and a friend won a prize for a three course meal here and it was absolutely delicious! The staff were very knowledgeable and helped us pair a bottle

We chose the Winter Set Menu and it was fantastic! Our server was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was quiet when we arrived but soon became busier. The background music was just right, not too loud to have a conversation.

The staff were not very polite when addressing a complaint. The food options were limited to a set menu, with no a la carte option available, which should have been mentioned at the time of booking. We waited 45 minutes for our dessert, which was a cheese board, leading us to question if they were waiting for the milk to curdle. During this time, we were not offered any drinks.

Our experience at this restaurant was very disappointing. We dined in the mid-afternoon before going to the theatre. The restaurant was being cleaned up after lunch, which did not help the lack of ambiance; it felt like being at McDonald's. We were the only customers (a party of 4) and yet the food arrived late, cold, poorly presented, and badly cooked. We paid £200 for a lackluster meal. I would recommend going to The Judged Hare instead.

chez mal, the restaurant in hotel malmaison london is a wise choice for a good meal and fine cocktail. malmaison is situated in a quiet and historical location and is a bit of an oasis of tranquility in the midst of the blister that surrounds. Between barbican and farringdon, the hotel is ideal for romps in london, especially for guests who are most interested in discovering london's gourmet friends. but the guests – and also the locals – would be wise to spend at least a bit of time and enjoy what is offered from the kitchen and behind the bar in times.

we drove here to Christmas and enjoyed us very much. the starters were a spiced lens soup or limitless hors d’ouvres buffet washed with a free glass prosecco. for our head we had eaten, both of which were good, but the beef wins only on the strength of the yorkshire puddings! with our meals we had a very nice bottle tempranillo merlot, which was perfect for our dinner fruity enough to pair with wings, sturdy enough with bark meat. the last cure was a gooey, super sweet, delicious sticky toffee pudding with pecans and vanilleeis a wonderful finish to a delicious bite of a meal. I would recommend a nice meal.
