Lovely place in front of the harbour. Friendly staff and excellent food. Try pasta and crawfish (worth the price), fish soup or foie gras. Order a local red wine and praise the cook.

the pasta at my wife's lobster or my grilled lobster were excellent. but apart from the dishes and desserts, the frame is very pleasant and the boss, passing through all the staff are very welcoming and very thoughtful without being invasive. humor and sympathy are appreciable. of course to advise

We were staying with Corsican friends near Ajaccio, and took a day exploring the mountain villages, pausing in Propriano for a late lunch.The pleasant waterside in Propriano was lined with the usual touristique cafés, but our hosts headed straight for Chez Parenti which definitely looked to be a cut above the others.Our meal, all seafood, was excellent (we had the St Pierre, plainly roasted, as a main course) and the service could not be faulted although admittedly the place was quiet on a mid week lunchtime in early June.The restaurant was certainly not cheap, but well worthwhile.

a restaurant supposedly of quality.But it stops there!Map ridiculously reduced and proportional to the quantities served.although nothing.In the plates the service was of a pretention without its for an establishment on the port like the other . the bells on the plates only serve to mask the congruous portions that are served .propriétaire manifestly agacious by the requests of its customers who only the addition was really .copier ...!!!! little message to all the gastronomic guides : stop the complacency .ce restaurant doesn't even deserve a cardboard fork . establishment to avoid !!!

We ate here on a Tuesday evening on the recommendation of our hotel. We had a lovely table outside overlooking the marina however we had a problem later in the evening and left with lots of insect bites. We were glad not to siit inside the restaurant as there was a very loud band performing outside at the front that spoilt the ambience. This is a fine dining restaurant so portions are typically small, the exception being the fish soup. We opted for all 3 courses at 52 euros pp (excl drinks) and the food was delicious, we felt it was good value for money.
