China Restaurant Palms Garden

Während unseres Besuchs in Frankfurt haben wir das China Restaurant für unser chinesisches Mittagessen entdeckt. Das Restaurant hat eine gute Einrichtung und eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Wir haben ihre Suppe, Nudeln und Gemüse genossen. Das chinesische Essen war lecker und ihr Dessert war großartig.

The restaurant was located near my hotel at the central train station. I was totally surprised from when I walked into the restaurant of how fancy it looked. I was seated right away and the server spoke good english. I decided to order the shrimp and fried rice which was plentiful and very good. This restaurant is a great choice.

The buffet offer is really nice and good, quite cheap and lot of choice. I liked it a lot. However the service is terrible, particularly the girl at the entrance where we pay. I don't get why she is at this position : really not friendly, not smily at all and because of her we left the restaurant pissed. That's a shame. From the outside this place doesn't look very promising, but once you go through the revolving door and down the stairs, you see a big, bright dining hall usually full of people. The buffet food here is OK. Some dishes are good, some not really, but what most people come here for are the hot pot and the barbecue. The fresh ingredients that you can combine to make your own dish are delicious, especially the meats and seafood.

My colleagues suggested that we visit this restaurant and all you can eat buffets fill my heart with dread. However, the Palms Garden was clean and efficient it offered a reasonable selection of food for an extremely reasonable price. I'd recommend coming early for lunch so that you avoid the busiest time. They will fine you if you are greedy and leave a lot of food on your plate uneaten. Good thing too. One improvement they could make would be to organise the direction in which customers browse past the food. It is a bit chaotic and creates a crush.

Das Essen ist sehr alt, sieht und schmeckt veraltet. Nichts zu sagen über den Service, gibt es überhaupt Service? Das Personal ist sehr unfreundlich und herrisch. Ein Witz! Es gibt keine saubere Zubereitung der Gerichte und die Portionen sind alle übertrieben, es ist klar, dass die Verwirrungen der Lebensmittel zeigen, dass sie sehr wenig sind. Einfach ausgedrückt. Die Bedienungen waren in einer unerträglichen Position, als wären sie Gott, und ließen einfach die Chinesen im Stich. Es ist nicht möglich, früh in diesen Laden zu kommen. Dieses Restaurant liegt direkt gegenüber dem Hauptbahnhof und ist ein großartiger Ort zum Essen, wenn Sie chinesisches Essen mögen. Es ist immer sehr voll und Sie müssen möglicherweise auf einen Tisch warten, da es ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis bietet und große Familiengruppen es nutzen und dazu neigen, über ihre Mahlzeit zu verweilen, was zu einer sehr lebhaften und geschäftigen Atmosphäre führt. Dies ist nicht der richtige Ort für ein romantisches Abendessen zu zweit. Im Grunde zahlen Sie einen Festpreis pro Person und bedienen sich dann an einer großen Auswahl an Speisen. This place definitely has one of the best deals in town in terms of quality/quantity of food (IF you like Chinese food). For 13.90 euro you get all you can eat from their extensive buffet. An extra Euro buys you unlimited (non alcoholic) beverages. For another 5 Euros you can have a hot pot for the entire table. We went for the hot pot so each of us had access to the entire substantial buffet plus all of the ingredients available for hot pot cooking.
