Chisou Mayfair - Speisekarte

The service was great, but we were disappointed by the quality of food the black cod was the worst I’ve ever had in my life. Tiny portion, not fresh, overcooked. Won’t be coming back.

Sehr individueller Service. Flexibel wenn es galt einen Gang auszutauschen. Kulinarik auf höchstem Niveau. Alles war perfekt. Sogar das Geburtstagsgeschenk in Form einer Schoggisensation.

Hokkaido Scallops carpaccio was from frozen scallops. Soft and watery. Black cod was tasteless. Miso taste for both dishes were weak. The previous visit was good but this time was disappointed. Speisekarte ansehen

The dinner at Giannino was truly spectacular, the best dinner I had in London. The food was extraordinary and the staff very friendly and attentive. Particular thanks to Giuseppe and Matteo. Highly recommend

A very bad experience. Ordered two mains and only one of them arrived. The lamb had a tomato sauce that was really sour and tasted really bad. The Burrata was bland and the mushrooms were like bullets. Th value is just not there so save your money .

another excellent meal at chisou! it is the first time we visited the new location and we are really impressed: it feels lighter and more airier than the previous Mayfair location. service as always was excellent and the food itself was absolutely delicious. highly recommended. Speisekarte ansehen

Unfortunately was disappointed with the food as well as some etiquette issues. It was easy to get a last minute booking which was great. Starter “shrimp tempura” was raw inside, got an apology and received another portion but still half cooked. The tortellini with truffle burly had any taste. Finally the desert was much better “pistachio with sorbet” When at any restaurant certain etiquette from other diners should be followed as not t to offend others in the restaurant.

We love the place though this time we were disappointed with the quality of the cuisine. We didn’t find what we previously enjoyed wich was the Italian gastronomy cuisine. The Buratta really lacked taste. The foie gras raviolis were good but really the size of the portion not adequate. The spaghetti with clams were too salty and sticky. Out of 6 guests at the table 5 were quite disappointed. The first time we came, at the opening, the food was just delicate and delicious. We came back a while after (after lockdown) and still really good. I do hope they will revert to that.

The Welcome and service was fantastic. From the Manager to the waiters all excellent. The ambience is nothing great. Tables are too close to each other that you can hear all the conversations on the table next door. Asked for a Large bottle of water and was told they had run out!! You can imagine how shocked I was to hear a resturant out of water. The food arrived and asked for chilli Sauce. And Yes, you guessed it right. “Sorry sir we do not have any chilli sauce but you can use the powder!!” I just didn’t have any words. This is meant to be a high end Japanese resturant and you don’t even keep large Water bottles and chilli sauce? At the prices they charge you are better of going to Nobu. Speisekarte ansehen
