Great food had fish and chips, fish was amazing and also huge portion. Pizzas also fantastic. Chips amazing too not skinny chips, just the way I love them

The fish was tasty and crisp. The staff were friendly and helpful. The chips may have been wrapped a little tight as they were a bit smashed. Overall pretty good.

I always order the fish and chips and the chicken tikka salad from this restaurant. The food is freshly cooked to order and the chef is dedicated. This restaurant has won many awards. Speisekarte ansehen

Just had fish and chips fish was lovely but chips were rock hard and looked like they had been reheated that many times there was no potato left in them and inedible we normally have good food from here so suprised from today's quality

If you want best Fish and Chips in our local area go to Chris's Fish and Chip shop. The fish is delicious and the quantity and quality is excellent. The exterior of the shop is ALWAYS beautiful with fresh flower baskets and floral decoratons ..beautiful Highly recommendedicated.

How this place won awards I'll never know. Just tried eating a kebab with chips. Meat was like chewing leather. Chips we're molded into what only could be called a fat ball. You couldn't eat a individual chip. It really was terrible!! Daughter had fish...said it was ok ish. Will not be wasting money on this place again. Speisekarte ansehen

I live in Barwell and I try the fish and chips every few months in the hope it will get better but so far not good. Under cooked chips every time so far. I have even asked for well done but all I have received...is anemic looking and soggy. The fish.....Crispy batter must be an east coast thing as here in the Midlands it is not something I can find.

Popped in for some later dinner. Rave reviews I hear so here we go. Ordered a mini fish n chips with a curry sauce. Over £6 which is expensive compared to some. Friendly service from the staff but, when unwrapped at home, fish appeared in...dark brown, thick batter, like solid cardboard. Certainly not freshly cooked there and then. Must have been hiding somewhere. Kept awake until 2am with really bad ingestion and nausea. I shall leave the morning comments. Sorry, but won’t be returning.

I’m absolutely gutted. We ordered from Chris’ on Saturday night on just eat. We ordered and paid for our food at 6:30, after waiting 2 hours for the delivery we rang up to see where our order was?.. to be told they’re doing it now...(although they’d clearly forgotten the order) and delivery time was meant to be 30 minutes. We’d spent quite a lot of money on pizzas, burgers and chips yet we were offered no apology or discount, and ended up having to go collect it else we would have been waiting even longer.
