The cod and chips at this restaurant were of exceptional quality, surpassing those at other local chip shops. The portion size was generous and satisfying.

The staff is helpful and friendly, and the food is excellent. It's best to avoid the busy period between 6 and 7:30 pm on Fridays (or most likely on other days as well).

Fish and chips are excellent, huge portions. I also ordered a side salad with my meal and it was lovely and fresh. Service and attention great. This is a fish and chip shop with class. Speisekarte ansehen

best fish and chips in Essex ... have one in Woodford and one in Theydon Bois . both as good as each other . portions are large and good value for money . friendly staff always very helpful .

Fish was golden and crispy, but so greasy the wrapping and bag was dripping in oil. Chips were a very small portion (comparative to other chippys in the area), not crispy about 10-20% were just not cooked at all. Mushy peas were okay. Fantastic fish n chip shop chain in London. Hubby and I ordered two large cods and 1 large chips to share. There must have been 2 lbs of chips. Perfectly salted with a dash of vinegar! The fish was perfectly cooked and too big for one. Must have a big appetite to make this order. Next time we will share one cod and a small chips!

On November 4, 2019, I purchased two doner kebabs for a pound each. The meat in the kebabs seemed to be either overcooked or left sitting on a hot plate for too long, resulting in a dry and unpleasant taste. It appears that whoever prepared the kebabs was aware of the poor quality of the meat they were serving to customers, which makes me hesitant to purchase from this restaurant again. This is not the first time I have experienced this issue.
