Unfortunately the bar is closed. It opens only from 18 to 20 with an aperitif service.

I eat here about twice a week and it’s extremely good. They have a large choice and the staff are multilingual. Great choice of food and it’s very consistent. Highly recommend it to everyone.

Small bar where you can breathe the atmosphere of Cinecittà in the 1950s, from the furnishings, to the photos to the walls, to the uniforms worn by the staff. Everything is very well-kept, even the bathrooms, where to dry your hands are available small disposable cotton wipes, all meticulously rolled.

A place of other times when cinema and history breathe in the air. A small but well-kept place. I've been with my friends for a pizza outside the bar. Quality of raw materials used, excellent and very digestible pizza flavor. Prices of pizza a few euros more than the norm, but there is. Qualified staff ready for every need.

Although the location is a little anonymous, the place is cute and is full of pictures of movie stars. The staff dresses with restaurant uniforms and is very attentive, friendly and precise. The pasta of the pizza resembles the Neapolitan one, soft, various seasonings recall the flavors of once, typical of the area. After dinner do not spoil a walk in the old town until the castle.

The food and service was nothing extraordinary but ok. Tables outside a bit cramped so, you’re inhaling the cigarette smoke from the next table during the whole dinner. Not nice. Also, no privacy while talking. Prices on the higher end and very high markups on wines. The whole atmosphere a bit pretentious for what it really is. Just because tourists are lured in by the “charm” of the Palazzo Margherita, I guess. To be honest, there are so many other more authentic places around Basilicata. Don’t get fooled by the fake hype.
