Staff is very warm welcoming. And food is exceptionally good, it was my first time trying Lebanese food and it was totally worth. We tried The Beiruty and veg Mezze platter, both were amazingly delicious.

Awful service, was ignored for at least 20 minutes (didn’t even get around to ordering drinks in that time! before walking away to eat somewhere else, I understand it’s busy but friendliness and attentiveness from staff members would go a long way.

We went to comptoir a couple weeks back and kept meaning to write a review as our experience was excellent I took my son out for the first time to eat out and the waiter Harsh (I think this is how you spell his name) made me feel so comfortable and helped me in every possible way. Worst experience ever! The restaurant was out of stock of all tagines, vegetarian mains and no falafel. There was no board outside to communicate this and we found out only after having the starters when it was almost 9pm. On top of it, the staff tried to give excuses that they had a busy weekend and hence no stock on weekday. Close the restaurant then until you get stock or cleary mark everything that's not available so customers can make an informed decision whether dine here or go elsewhere. The fatoush salad was the worst even, mostly lettuce, little dressing and dry.

Comptoir Libanais offers an incredible atmosphère here by Kingston Riverside. The view is just unique and beautiful as you have the river right next to you. The food and drinks were great. I loved every bit of them. What I loved the most is that the food wasn't super hot when it came to us which is great as you don't need to wait to eat it. It was at the perfect temperature to be eaten. Their portions were good for the price and the quality was superb. We were served by a man who was always smiling, being friendly and served in a way that made us feel like we were home. The service was also fast to be a restaurant which is something we also loved. Everything seemed to be clean and organised....

I recently visited Comptoir Libanais in Kingston and would like to provide some feedback on my experience. The restaurant's location and interior design are truly impressive and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. While the starters were enjoyable, I found the main course to be lacking in quality. Despite being served on a tagine plate, the lamb dish resembled meatballs and did not adequately absorb the sauce plus undercooked, leading to a disappointing overall taste. Additionally, the service was slow, resulting in extended wait times for both ordering and receiving our food. Upon arrival, the dishes were only lukewarm, suggesting a need for improvement in kitchen management and attention... Speisekarte ansehen
