Home made soups were top-notch, as was the battered haddock with the best chips ever! Home-made chocolate cake was a stunning hit. Friendly service will certainly go back the next time we're anywhere near MacDuff

this is a regular eating place for lunch is always excellent and fresh. love the cleanliness of the place and the friendly service. good prices too. It is only open during the tourist season. end october will miss it.

Tried this for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. Excellent fish and chips, great tea! And lovely friendly service. The restaurant and toilets are very clean. It is small but I’ll definitely be back. Pity it closes so early.

we have not eaten a meal, but we have asked for tee, coffee and snacks on Thursday august. the dame was very welcoming, we enjoyed our tees, and although we did not eat lunch the food we saw other people eating looked very good. I would recommend it very much.

I took my daughter and her two wee ones aged and for lunch before we visited the aquarium (another must see). The food was excellent, we had two haddock and chips and chicken nuggets and chips but nothing was too much trouble for...the staff who looked after us and especially the children so well.

what a nice little restaurant/café. Homemade eating was incredible. my mother in law and I had lasagne, and my husband had the steakcake. he also had the sticky toffee pudding. the waitress was friendly and very welcoming. we were all very pleased that we met this little place at our celebrations. if you are looking for beautiful homemade food / puddings/concerts/pancakes, this is a definitiw to go a fab wee place!

for many years we come into this beautiful restaurant and our visits are never more than amazing. owners lorraine and jimmy offer nothing less than first class food and service, it must be one of the cleanest and well managed. places we have ever visited. eating is always a very generous part and so well cooked that it is hard to find a comparison. so people do not hesitate to stop for a cuppa and some amazing food and a very warm welcome. highly recommended

Was in today after a visit to the Macduff Aquarium and a recommendation for the staff. Was worth the trip across the road. fresh haddock main courses battered and breaded and scampi with salad. Food was perfectly cooked and wonderfully fresh,...you know when haddock is fresh it taste so the sea. Cup of tea with a scone and millionaires shortbread to end the meal were both tasty and fresh. Apple pie and ice cream for the other and he left nothing, said it was very tasty. Service was very good and the lady serving very attentive and chatty. Would go back and might try the steak pie next time.
