"We have been coming here for years, but the last time we came (last year) the food was disappointing, so we booked with trepidation, not being confident that it would be a good experience. However, we were very glad that it has largely returned to it’s previous high quality of food and service. 3 of us came for an early dinner, ordering a bottle of house white wine, 1 whitebait and calamari starter to share and then a main course for each of us veal, sea bass and hake with 2 glasses of wine between us The quality of the fish was excellent, while the veal was a little tough in places. The total cost of the meal was £110, so not cheap, but we will be going back again."

"came for an evening meal with family from the usa. easy to book and a nice reception. very good service of waiter and beautiful ambiente. we ordered tapas every plus chips and bottle white wine between us. the quality of the food was excellent, so we ordered a dessert dish that lasted for a long time, so we were not charged for it. the total cost came to everyone for the meal that is not cheap, but it is very good quality!"

"Absolute best pizza in Portishead, fact, no competition at all. Lovely atmosphere dining in, staff are amazing. Owner needs to embrace the card machine a little more, my only minor critique but I will say they let me use it on my last visit. If you live in Portishead and haven't been here, even just for a take out pizza, you're nuts, do it as soon as possible. Service: Take out"

"We saw this quiet looking cafe and went inside to order. Young girls working there chatting. We asked if they were serving and they were quite rude. Brought out a scone with jam and the cream on the side despite me asking for a plain one. The hot dog and shake for £5 was low standard. It took about 20 mins for a cheap bread bun with 2 tiny sausages from a tin, they drowned it in ketchup. My drink “lemonade” arrived warm in an Asda can with no glass etc. when I asked for a glass with ice they looked shocked. Our other meal the Greek chicken dish the chicken was so hard and overcooked. It was a bad lunch experience with a rude server."

"Outstanding Sunday lunch!! Myself and a group of friends visited for Sunday lunch a few weeks ago. The food was excellent, decent sized portions and very good quality. There were 6 of us in total and the whole group were in agreement. The service was just as good, nothing was too much trouble, the staff were incredibly friendly and professional.
