"The staff is extremely rude, especially the woman owner (the man is slightly more polite). My family lives in Paris and tells me the same. There were three of us going out this evening and the restaurant was completely empty. We asked for a specific table but the owner insisted that we sat at a specific table (there was a cold draft), which was also not cleaned. We politely asks for another table further in but she flatly refused and actually kicked us out and screamed at us not to come back. I have heard several instances of this type of behavior, which sadly can be representative of France, and decided to report it on Trip Advisor as this is not only unacceptable but goes against all business ethics. We went elsewhere and it was really good. The restaurant was still empty when we left. I have eaten there before (but will not come back) and it is only average at best anyway so my recommendation is for no one to come; you never know you could be insulted too and it is not pleasant."

My experience at Crêperie de Saint-Malo was very unpleasant. I ordered a menu (salad salty crêpe sweet crêpe) What a surprise when I see a funny visitor coming out of my salad...a grasshopper ! (alive) I scream, I talk to the waiter, who simply takes the salad away to bring me another one. Of course, after this episode, I lost my appetite. No apologies from their side nor any compensation for this horrible episode. The staff was very rude and the food was very poor quality. I don't want to imagine which kind of ingredients they use or the hygiene in the kitchen. To avoid at any costs.
