Nice place for a quiet pint. Friendly staff. Lovely beer garden with the sun on all day. Will deffo be back

Come in here regularly to watch the football with the lads. Reasonably priced pint, great atmosphere and lovely staff.

Lovely meal out with the family, ordered pizzas and burgers, especially enjoyed the sweet chilli chicken pizza. Great visit, Speisekarte ansehen

Regularly meet the lads in here for a few pints, atmosphere is spot on, staff even better Amelia in particular goes above and beyond to make our experience even better!

Food was terrible .bbq chicken burger and chips a hand full of chips cold bread bun and dont no what the chef done to the road kill chicken.son got a pizza which was like cardboard . Told the waitress the food was garbage .wont be going back anytime soon

Diner was aufew roasters where hard as allways and overpriced for carvery 7.99 for widweek carvery is no way worth 5 pound if that not as good as tobys better food and not much more than maidmaid charge now its gone down hill and won't be returning tobys it is from now no wonder had people telling me its gone down hill there right Speisekarte ansehen

Ordered a take out delivery Saturday 3rd feb the only thing edible was the meat,roast potatoes must have been on display for hours couldn’t cut through them when finally did potato inside was practically non existent Rock hard shell Yorkshire puds rock hard, mash full of lumps, veg hard never again complete waste of my money never again

Absolutely abysmal. We’ve gone to the mermaid many times but unfortunately we won’t be returning. The carvery was absolutely disgusting, everything was dry and tasted like it was made last weekend. It wasn’t edible and we had to leave most of the food. I’m surprised the place is still open serving that food. Some of the staff were lovely and some were pretty hideous. They did refund the meals that we didn’t eat so I guess that’s the only positive

I was in this evening for a cavery the food was lovely however the assistant manager slightly large woman with red hair and glasses) thought it would be a great idea to belittle the young waiter stocky with purple/ pink hair and tattoos) for setting up a table for a pretty large booking. The tone the way she spoke to him was so unprofessional and had no care that customers were present. When the waiter turned around and stood up for himself she became more loud to try and over power him then proceeded to say I 'm the assistant manager you do as I say the young waiter notice me standing behind so proceeded to say let 's take it outside as customers are present the assistant manager then storm...
