"Boonnak is the best Thai restaurant in the area! I have been dining here for over 10 years and have enjoyed countless meals here, from intimate dinners for two to birthday celebrations and bachelorette parties. The menu has remained largely unchanged over the years and the owner has stayed the same, but the restaurant itself has continuously improved in terms of decor and atmosphere. The food is consistently delicious, with our favorite dishes never failing to satisfy. We also enjoy trying new dishes, and the quality, taste, and portion sizes are always top-notch. "We had a lovely evening meal here with my friend. The salami plate was delicious with a good selection of authentic hungarian salamis. The chicken schnitzel was gently beaten into 2 thin slices of flavoursome pieces. Finished the evening with complimentary drinks (pálinka). We will definitely return again to try the goulash, stuffed cabbage or the stuffed pancakes Hortobágyi style. "So we came for my husbands birthday. First of all due to a local taxi company letting us down, we didn't arrive until 7.20 and our table of 7 was booked for 7pm so upon profusely apologising because we were late arriving, it was absolutely no trouble getting seated by the staff. Secondly the restaurant was smaller than I expected but again all the staff were very accommodating for us as a party. We were served for drinks pretty much straight away as soon as we sat down which I liked. As we all know when you are attending as a larger party at a restaurant it takes a little while for everyone to decide what they are having but again the staff were very patient and gave us plenty of time to decide on our menu choices (I hate being rushed for anything). Starting with the food, my husband is a chef and this was his first day off in 12 days and it's very rare for us to eat out and for him to have not a single complaint or grumble about the food, which he didn't! Service was prompt and in an ideal amount of time between each course. The price of the whole bill, considering 3 bottles of wine, 3 glasses of Pepsi, 4 beers and a jug of water, 6 starters, 2 garlic breads and 7 main meals was very reasonable! The food exceeded the expectation and the service was excellent, 1000% recommend and 1000% will attend again!"

"Wonderfully welcoming and accommodating, and fantastic food, cooked to perfection. Chose this restaurant due to fantastic reviews. I 'm currently on a restricted diet and couldn 't see anything obvious on the menu for me, but since the restrictions make food a bit boring for me anyway, I thought my family may as well enjoy something delicious, even if I couldn 't. I emailed in advance to double check they could accommodate me and there would be something I could eat and they were very positive and willing, informing me they cook everything to order so anything could be left off according to my needs. The person I had emailed came over specifically to take our food order and help me find something from the menu, made different suggestions to make it more interesting, and had even googled the name of the diet I 'm on and been out to buy vegan mayonnaise especially for me. They gave me extras of things I could have to make up for bits I couldn 't. When my food came, it was exquisitely cooked and managed to be really delicious, despite me not being allowed lots of the things you 'd normally use to add flavour! My husband and parents were absolutely delighted with their starters and mains and saying things like 'it was worth coming to Blackpool just so we could eat here ' (it 's about a 6hr drive for us). We were too full for dessert so I can 't comment on that but with friendly, helpful and accommodating staff, and freshly cooked delicious food, I 'd thoroughly recommend!!!"

"We visit lots of bakeries, dessert shops, restaurants etc as we love eating out. I have followed this shop on Instagram for a long time and had been pestering to visit as the photos look amazing. On arrival, it wasn’t quite what I was expecting, the outside didn’t look too inviting. There was lots of choice inside and the stock was beautifully presented. We didn’t know what to pick! The man that served us wasn’t very friendly, even though we were the only ones there, we felt like an inconvenience. The brownies weren’t to my taste, but that’s just my taste, with all the good reviews...all of those can’t be wrong. I did find them a bit pricey as well, but that is probably just because I didn’t enjoy them and the less than friendly service that we received. Although I personally wouldn’t return or recommend, I still wish you all the best and I still like looking at your Instagram page."
