Service Nice and very polite, food the worst I’ve ever had. Very touristic as everything in Lucca. Would hope some effort.

Although I'm a Brit, I do appreciate good food when I find it, and this meal was delicious. The pasta was freshly made, the risotto was excellent and the tiramisu was perfect. And nice not to be ripped off for a change, the price was very reasonable. Good service and you even get a mist spray to cool you down. Perfect!

There were four of us visiting Lucca on a busy Saturday in early May. We found this great restaurant and had a wonderful server. We did not have reservations and got there slightly early for dinner so they were able to accommodate us. While we were there they did have to turn some others away so make a reservation if possible! The food was fresh and tasty, great service, beautiful atmosphere what more could you ask for?

We stopped by chance, on a luxuriant trip with friends. first we were attracted by the location because the restaurant is located in the wonderful amphitheatre square. has both external and internal tables and on the first floor you can always dine/prayer with a lovely view. pizzas were delicious and delicious desserts. very polite personal content prices. I hope to be able to come back with a mild climate and have lunch outside Speisekarte ansehen

Pizza and pasta (spaghetti aglio olio) were very tasty, fresh ingredients and special requests were catered for very well. Dessert (ice cream, tiramisu and panna cotta) very creatively prepared and tasty in good portions, only panna cotta could have been a little more. The service was very friendly and had good recommendations for dishes and drinks. We sat beautifully on the piazza under large umbrellas equipped with refreshing water misters. We came to €91 with 4 people.

Even if I live outside the city, when I do a tour of the city I take the opportunity to paste like a tsarardo. friendly staff, honest prices and really good food. the pasta is made and processed by hand and the sauce is the end of the world. today I tried the scaloppine to the really delicious mushrooms, melted in the mouth. as sweet chocolate cake and pear. the quality and price ratio is great. gherardo is very nice and hand , always available to exchange some chats . now I bring all parents,

We went twice to Da Gherardo it was so good. I have to eat gluten free and I was able to have a gluten free pizza the first time and gluten free tortellini the second time!! Great attention to gluten free, little packs of (delicious) gluten free breadsticks as soon as you arrive, separate gf menu, all the little toasted bread starters could be made gf as well and were very tasty. My companions also really enjoyed their meals containing gluten. Staff were really good very helpful, knowledgeable and kind to me as I had hurt my back!
