"the dalea café is a large-volume café-bistro in the heart of Parisian traffic at the foot of the Montparnasse tower. the importance of coffee makes it a target of reprimand for practices that may not be worse than in the vast majority of other cafes in the city, but which, for its size, are worth a distinction. the dalea, like most cafes, has a terrace in front of the place where the Parisians are witnesses of the urban scene. Two rows and 20 tables are comprised of about forty customers. then a level above the terrace, partly divided by glass, are more tables. smokers can use the terrace tables, widely open on the outside air. non-smokers, at least those who are offended by smoke, must be satisfied with the closed interior space and the obstruded views of the scene. Even in the cold of winter, smokers find enough comfort since dalea, like most other large cafes, carpets the underside of the awnings of its terrace of radiating radiators. authorities have been trying to fight smoking for seven years, partly with health warnings on cigarettes. packages and by confining smokers to the outside and exiling them from the interior of the buildings. But it turned against him. smokers get the best places, and to compete, the cafes have laced the glass of the boulevard with radiators. a dalea, to arrive at a table, you had to sail in the fog of the terrace and still have them in the interior. far from all this, our meal was overall satisfactory. my burgundy beef hadn't cooked long enough so he was grinding like a bike tire. The shrimp cocktail and Yvonne lawyer was delicious, and she was pretty happy with our tuna and salmon pins. Our coasts of the rag were good - and cheap, thanks to the Euro dip. However, in this coffee like most, it is best to smoke up to the meat."
