Had an amazing weekend here , felt at home as soon as we arrived. Room spotless and welcoming, food to die for and wonderful hosts

great atmosphere. great family ran pub . good food, drink and craic has brought the life back into this pub. Sundays carvery is excellent value for money.

Lovely friendly pub on the out skirts of Wolsingham. Beautiful food and very pleasant sitting outside with a cold lager on days like today. Worth a visit if in the area

Since we moved here we have loved coming here to enjoy the atmosphere and excellent food Amanda and Rob provide. Having stayed overnight the rooms are lovely and comfy too. Thanks to you both.

I called today to the bay horse, with our two special needs young. personal was really friendly, eating was nice. I would recommend everyone, we will be back. keaton even got a free ice cream, thanks again x

we called with a minibus of friends at a birthday party pub crawl staff were amazing service excellent and we were treated so well. our friends are from the consett and hexham area and all commented on how happy we are to have such a nice pub on our doorstep thanks to them all xxx

We have been here the past 5 weeks in a row, great Sunday lunch! Staff are very friendly and attentive. You can tell it is a family ran business as it has a homely environment! Has a modern/old school country pub vibe, which is amazing! They even gave my daughter an Easter egg! I'll be back most weekends!

Had a fabulous Intoxicating afternoon tea with 8 friends. Included a glass of Prosecco, teapot of cocktails and a vodka jelly. One savoury course then a sweet with the most fabulous scones. The service could not have been better. We felt so welcome we moved into the bar and stayed for a few more hours by the cosy burner. More Prosecco with complimentary Chambord and raspberries. Fabulous!!

just for the most delicious meal, after driving around for age groups try to find a pub open for eating on New Year's Day, we thought we would try this, and my word, what an amazing surprise, people are beautiful, and eating was absolutely delicious, we both had a steak, a boiled blue and a boiled medium good, both cooked to perfection! they must be one of the best steaks! it can't be mistaken!
