"We have visited Darcys in Porchester many times but I have to say that after todays visit we will not be rushing back … We entered the cafe and asked an employee if they had a table for 4 please.Her reply was *Weve got what you can see* Not quite the way I would have expected to be spoken to ……There were a few vacant seats but not 4 together …We decided we would wait until a table became vacant ,which It did ,after not too much of a wait … We chose our meals ,3 of which were jacket potatoes …*we’ve run out of jacket potatoes *not even a sorry we’ve run out … We settled for 3 lots of sandwiches and 1 Toastie …. I think they forgot about making the toastie as we had all finished our sandwiches before it had arrived and that was after we had to ask when it was coming… To say we were disappointed in our visit today is an understatement….We certainly didn’t have the friendly service that we have had in there previously …."

Best coffee around by far. Beautiful sausage rolls.. Exquisite cakes. Wonderful friendly staff. Value for Money What more can you want? Do yourself a favour...get down there!!

Popped in today for a drink and bite to eat we weren't disappointed had a bacon brie and cranberry panini delicious couldn't fault it.the lady owner came over for a chat very friendly

Whilst out on a Friday morning stroll with my 2 year old son, I thought we would pop in to Darcy's for the first time. I must say the service is exceptional, the staff are very friendly. The food was incredibly good, we will be coming back for sure Speisekarte ansehen

Great cafe in the heart of Portchester. Always welcoming, great selection on the menu. Can highly recommend either the toasted tea cake or crumpets!!! Coffee is good here. First visit this weekend since the whole covid malarkey. Tables spaced well, sanitiser available. NHS qr code in use. Great place for a quick bite.

First visit to Darcy’s since February so it was great to return again and have a coffee. Although some tables were marked as not in use due to COVID there was still plenty of seating and a good amount of space. Still a good menu available and order at the till set-up as before. QR code on show to book in. Ordered toasted tea cakes and cappuccino which arrived quickly and were both toasted and brewed to perfection. Look forward to visiting again after lockdown fingers crossed! I’ve added a few pics including menus so if you find this useful, please like
