"Ein weiterer thematischer kulinarischer Abend im Café Fontaine und wieder ein sensationelles Menü. Das Herbstmenü zum Start der Saison. Ein zurückhaltendes Amuse-Bouche aus Linsen mit geräuchertem Fasan gab den Ton an. Dann eine Variation von Foie Gras mit karamellisierten Trauben, und für mich das Highlight: Jakobsmuscheln in einem cremigen Kürbis-Risotto. Wir erfrischten unseren Gaumen mit einem Sorbet aus Most und gingen dann zur ernsten Angelegenheit über: la chasse, ein köstlicher Hirsch mit allen traditionellen Beilagen. Das Dessert war so gut, dass ich vergaß, ein Bild zu machen – alles in allem ein wundervoller Abend im malerischen Dorf Soral. Nun die Frage: Sind CHF176 für all dies und eine gute Flasche Wein eher gehobene Mittelklasse oder Fine Dining????"

"Die Dekoration der Tische und des gesamten Restaurants Antes ist angemessen und geschmackvoll. Die Toiletten sind stets sauber, und insgesamt hinterlässt das Restaurant einen sehr guten Eindruck. Die Kellner sind immer sehr bemüht und freundlich! Es ist durchweg angenehm, und wir hatten hier einen tollen Abend. Es ist mir hier noch nie passiert, dass ein Gericht kalt serviert wurde. Auch die Auswahl des Menüs und der Getränke lässt keine Wünsche offen."

"Service was warm and friendly partly compensating for the food which honestly was very average. The meat cooking was inaccurate with a medium rare burger arriving partly raw and a medium rare entrecôte arriving rubbery and overcooked. I personally didn’t like the greasy fries and vegetables (assume they were courgettes) smothered in a heavy sauce with a curry taste. Positive comments were made by one person at our table about the trout so maybe the kitchen understands cooking fish more than meat. Enjoyed the garanoir wine from Soral and the bill for 4 was reasonable. We had a nice evening on the terrace but wouldn’t return for the food."

"That's great! I've always been in front of this restaurant thinking it was a simple Chinese, but not at all! It is a top-of-the-range Vietnamese restaurant, very well appointed and pleasant, with very friendly staff. But above all, what a delicious cuisine!! A long time ago I had not eaten such an excellent Asian cuisine!! We took the discovery menu and were submitted by each dish. Lots of perfumes and flavors. The khantine will become our canteen!"
