"My wife and I were driving down from Otranto to Santa Maria di Leuca and were hoping to have lunch at a wine bar there that had been well reviewed on TA. Unfortunately it turned out to be closed. We were both tired, hot and grumpy and nothing else that we saw in town appealed to us. When we were researching possible places for lunch the day before we noticed this cafe also got great reviews. Therefore, even though it was another 10 minute further drive we decided to go for it... boy we glad we did: delicious Caprese salad with tuna, a tasty panini with local meat and cheese and a great local beer from Capo d'Otranto. Then came the best part: a trio of gelatos featuring chocolate, almond and fig and a third flavour I can't remember the name of but was just as yummy as the first two. As that apparently wasn't enough we also got a delicious chocolate and cream pasticiotti and a couple of Caffe Leccese. Wow! Marco the owner was so warm and hospitable, even though he didn't speak much English and our Italian is very limited to say the least. This for us was a reflection of what foreign travel is all about it can be a lot of hard work and aggravation but just when things seem to be going sideways you can have an amazing experience like this. "I was in this braceria with my wife behind advice of a friend, we took a Florentine of black angus from a kg, with baked potatoes contour and fries, the staff was really nice to recommend what to take but above all, having problems on cooking me and my wife, to meet our needs, we also tasted a couple of bombs, raw materials of excellent quality, just think you have the choice of tasted meat two We'll be back."

"Ein nettes und gemütlich beleuchtetes Lokal, das auch ohne Meerblick einladend wirkt. Beim Essen gab es Gutes und weniger Gutes: das Saubohnenpürree war sehr lecker, die frittierten Sardellen hervorragend, die gegrillten Garnelen waren prima, Spaghetti Vongole und Spaghetti Cozze waren versalzen, das Kalbfleisch tagliata leider zäh. Der Service war relativ schnell, dafür aber nachlässig, da eines der bestellten Hauptgerichte vergessen worden war und erst nachgeliefert wurde, als alle anderen mit dem Essen bereits fertig waren. Das kann zwar grundsätzlich mal passieren, war aber wenig verständlich, da im Restaurant nur wenige Tische belegt waren. Kein freundliches Wort beim Kommen, keine Verabschiedung beim Gehen und keinerlei Reaktion, geschweige denn Dank, für ein großzügiges Trinkgeld, das eigentlich überhaupt nicht verdient gewesen wäre."

"the menu offered some local dishes that were beautiful. the prices were reasonable. the total experience loses some points due to the average service and food quality and does not reach all the level of some other restaurants in the opposite mustel and mussel antipasti had only 3 muscheln and muscheln were small and somewhat dry."

"Abbiamo mangiato la sera in questo molto bello e ben curato per la posizione. Ci sono poche tabelle e quindi l'ambiente è molto confortevole. Per quanto riguarda la cucina era buono, ma alcuni piatti non erano al costo. La pasta con riccioli per esempio non mi ha veramente convinto.. Non era molto gustoso. Premetto che è un tipo di pasta che spesso prendo nei vari luoghi del mare.. il dolce invece era molto buono. ."
