Dinner was borderline inedible. The beef pie was tasty but the potatoes and vegetables should have been an embarrassment. There are better and more charming places to enjoy dinner

big pub with a fantastic story of stars that eat for a drink or something after a Shakespearean performance at the theater. so many famous stars signed photos on the walls inside! great atmosphere

celebrated world gin day here with friends. only on the way from the rsc and the actor bar reflects this. beautiful gin, beautiful personal and beautiful loos. seemingly they also make a great breakfast! highly recommended.

I booked a table. the family has water plucked and kept. nice staff at the bar could not be enough for us. menu was extensive, reasonable prices. everything we eat was well cooked and well presented. also treated us a mysterious young to 20 minutes piano game. you were great. cheers

very impressed, well gifted and happy staff. the food was excellent as the English craft ales could offer again congratulations! We went for a pint and lunch at this restaurant. The food and beer were both excellent, and the outdoor terrace was a lovely spot to unwind and enjoy the local scenery and river views. The baked camembert was absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend ordering it to complement any meal.

Always enjoy a pint in the actors bar and it is very dog friendly. Last night I asked about ordering something to eat to be told I could not as it was bookings only. An odd decision considering the pub was a 1/4 full, it was only around 19.30 and a couple in the bar had just received their meals. Not the 1st time I have experienced issues with food here, so will stick to ordering drinks only.

The restaurant had a beautiful view, but the service and food were just okay. They were out of one of the dishes we wanted, and the vegetarian options were not very good. One dish seemed like it was just a frozen meal that was reheated. The portions were small for the price. You could find better food at an independent restaurant. While it was a quiet atmosphere, it took a long time to order and the staff seemed overworked and not properly trained. It's unfortunate, as the restaurant has a historic charm. However, after visiting this place following a trip in 1995, we wouldn't return. Speisekarte ansehen
