"It has been a while since I last visited this restaurant. The decoration was lovely, the atmosphere welcoming, and the service and food were excellent! We started with a garlic bread with tomato. I had the lemon and rosemary roasted chicken with Mediterranean sweet risotto, while my mother had the Marinara risotto. Both dishes were delicious and the portions were generous. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a 10% discount on our bill for presenting our theater cards. The only downside was that the restaurant is located up steep steps with no disabled access, and the toilets were located up another staircase, making it difficult for my elderly mother to access. Other than that, I have no complaints."

a group of 14 of us spent Saturday afternoon in the theater royal and to finish our day we had our meal per booked we sat immediately sitting and eating followed and it was nice and personal friendly would recommend

Our son won the Facebook competition for a meal for 4 and a bottle of wine so took us with him and his girlfriend. We are so pleased he did as it was gorgeous, the food was fantastic and the owner very friendly. We will definitely go back now we know how fantastic it is!

We had another amazing meal. Whenever we are in Newcastle, we make sure to have dinner here. The food is delicious and the relaxed and friendly atmosphere adds to the overall dining experience. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Used a Wowcher for two mains with two wines ... lovely little restaurant that smelled so good as soon as you walked in. Food was delicious... artichoke n bacon pizza and amatriciana pasta ... so tasty!!! They were happy to swap a wine for a soft drink. Nothing was a bother ... lovely staff too. Will definitely go back

I visited the restaurant today with some coworkers and tried the December special. I couldn't find anything negative to say about the menu, food, or service. There was a fantastic selection of dishes at a very reasonable price. I paid £12.95 for a two-course meal (I chose the arancini and ragu tagliatelle, both of which were delicious) and a glass of house wine was just under £5 and very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this place and plan to return soon. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.
