"Chandras, acts as head of the room; The chef in his kitchen, very hardworking, and the waiters serving, will bring you true Indian-Nepali gastronomic experiences, they do it at a good price, well served and, really, adapted to each diner, their tastes and their varied tolerances. It was the night of San Silvestre, New Year 's Eve, in Torrox Costa, an unexpectedly rainy day. Seven of us make up the group. The previously prepared table, tablecloth, cloth napkin, comfortable chairs. There was a special menu: Christmas, with four complete starters, a main dish and accompanying rice/breads, plus dessert and drink. The starters are well presented, with some sauce dishes, chapati, momos, samosas, vegetables... In the main course, the so-called curries (actually different stews of chicken, pork, lamb, in their metal container that is kept hot and reminiscent of fondue), each with its unique curry sauce and according to the tastes of each diner, especially when it comes to chili. "Sin duda el mejor sitio de Torrox, producto fresco, cuidado, calidad de 10, hacía falta un lugar así fuera de la comida de siempre y el típico chiringuito. Buen ambiente, muy buena atención, comida asturiana pero también producto de la zona ....no podéis pasar por la axarquia si venir a probarlo....el cachopo es particularmente una delicia, no el típico cachopo inmenso con sabor a carne frita mala, mucho sabor, proporciones adecuadas, buenos precios....lo tiene todo... larga vida a PATALETA!!!!"

"Where shall I start... My sister and I had a memorable evening at the El Desvàn de Tete . Calmly situated on the Avenida de Andalucia (next to the notary office), a little hidden behind one of the street trees covering the entrance. You enter a (kitchery) romantic patio full of greens separating each 2 tables. Soft (good) music in the background and kind reserved reception by Joël. Menu ready on the table (as we reserved on forehand). Few choices but... oooooh so gooooooood. Here we go: cocktail: mojito with fresas (please try the Mango as according to Joël that 's the best) amuse: small biscuit with persil, garlic and olive oil and one slice of cured ham main: Monkfish with pili pili sauce (we took the stronges pili pili and it was perfectly eatable), scallops and mussels with veggies as side dish (rice was the other option) dessert: Mango(like) icecream and lemon sorbet (with whipped cream) egg like fusion (with mango, chocolate, whipped cream and vanilla) coffee capuchino Tadaaaaa: all this for less than € 80 (2 servings). A must go when you are in Torrox! And a big thank you for the super service of Joël !"
