"I recently visited this charming restaurant located right on Loch Ness, and it was truly a delightful experience. The serene surroundings make it the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of tea and a slice of cake. I've also had lunch here a few times and each time was fantastic. The service is always top-notch and the sight of the highland coos adds to the overall charm of the place. The food is of high quality and the service is exceptional. I am already looking forward to my next visit!"

This charming tea room is absolutely delightful. I enjoyed a tasty bowl of lentil soup with bread and butter. I highly recommend this place. The service was excellent. I dined in for lunch and the price per person was very reasonable, between £1 and £10. I would give the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect score of 5.

Located in a picturesque setting, this cafe has a rustic charm, but falls short of its high ratings. The food was decent, but the coffee was weak and some dishes were chipped. The interior could use a good cleaning, and the outside area needs maintenance. The highlight was the Highland cows, a unique sight for many. We found it amusing that the owners were selling small bags of cattle feed for £5 each, showing their clever way of making extra money.

"This charming, unpretentious bistro by the river is a delightful find. The decor creates a lovely atmosphere. We enjoyed a variety of dishes including smoked salmon, fish and chips, scallops, and scampi linguini, as well as a filet of salmon with crispy skin served on a bed of mussel and pea risotto. Our group of four unanimously agreed that it was the best meal we had during our visit to the UK. The total bill, which included two glasses of wine, was £106. I highly recommend this place!"

"This small restaurant was bustling, with a line out the door even on a rainy Wednesday night, which speaks volumes. The pizza was delicious and the dessert was huge, luckily we had agreed to share it before it arrived. Overall, the meal was excellent, with a price range of £10–20 per person. The service and atmosphere both received top ratings of 5. We highly recommend trying the Tiramisu and 4 Cheese Pizza."

"I visit this place for first time and my experience are surprising very good. Probably the best gelato had in very long time! So rich and good in flavour. And not over prices! 2 scoops in a cup I have payed £3.75. The best triple choco and ferrero rocher flavours ever! Must visit in Inverness dessert shop!"

"Oh, what a day we had at The White House for my auntie’s 88th! It was pure magic, right from the off. The team there couldn’t have been more welcoming, making us all feel right at home in the heart of Scotland. Now, let’s gab about the food it was out of this world! We started with gluten free fish n chips, and let me tell you, it was as good as any chippy by the sea – crispy, golden, and just packed with flavor. The venison steak and beef short rib? Cooked just how you’d want them, tender and full of taste. The gluten free burgers were a hit too, so juicy and well seasoned. For pudding, we had these scoops of ice cream, smooth as you like, and an apple crunch cheesecake that was simply to die for. But it was our server, Anastasia, who really made our day. She was a wee star – always there with a smile, quick with a recommendation, and knew her menu inside out. I barely noticed our water bottle was empty, and whoosh, there she was with a full one. That’s service for you! The atmosphere in The White House was just as warm and inviting as you’d hope for. It felt like sitting in a cosy wee pub in the Highlands, with all the charm and friendliness you’d expect. So, if you’re ever in the mood for a meal that’s as satisfying as a wee dram on a cold night, head to The White House. It’s not just eating; it’s a proper Scottish experience, full of heart and soul"

"Absolutely awful service and treatment from the owner Norman. My partner and I had a voucher from the highland hospice to enjoy 2 courses from the early bird menu only to be told it “clearly states in big writing lunch menu and is not to be used on our early bird, we don’t make enough money from these charity vouchers” with a patronising and rude attitude. The voucher states lunch voucher 2 courses from early bird. The early bird states 12 5:45 and we arrived at quarter past 5 so I don’t see what time we could’ve used this. We were embarrassed in front of the restaurant as he walked off while we were trying to question it, asking if there was a separate lunch/early bird menu (there isn’t) he arrogantly stated “I don’t come to work to argue with customers”. We also paid to win this voucher and are now out of pocket. The young servers we dealt with were pleasant and understanding, it’s a shame the owner lets the place down, I’d urge anyone to stay away."
