I had a fantastic Sunday lunch and would highly recommend it. The food was reasonably priced as well.

The food and service at this restaurant were fantastic. The set menu had a wide variety of delicious options, making it hard to choose. The wine selection was also excellent. Overall, it was a top-notch dining experience.

Exceptionally welcoming pub with a great selection of beers. I had the freedamm, alcohol free and gluten free and would you believe it was deliciously refreshing. I had the £20 2 course set menu, I left hungry to be honest hence why I can only give it 4 stars but the food was exquisite.

Staff and food were absolutely incredible!! Highly reccomend the ribs, Parmesan chips rocket soy salad!!! Only thing is the price, most I’ve spent eating out in a while but when you put the quality of food and staff into perspective, it’s a lovely treat and chance to spoil yourself!! We will be back!

My business partner and good friend raves about Dylans as his favourite local, so he brought me here to see for myself, and I have to agree! Great gastro pub with what I 've been told is an ever changing selection of guest draft craft beers. We had a few relaxed pints on the window stools, and some bar snacks . Well worth coming to!

I have visited twice now. The first time for drinks and a scotch egg. The second time for the Christmas menu. The service is incredibly friendly and fast. The beer selection is really good too. Lots of beers that you won't find elsewhere. The food is incredible. Everything I've tried here has been perfectly balanced. It's some of the best food you can get in St Albans. I will be back!

Lovely food, cozy atmosphere. I’ve been there with my girlfriend for dinner, we ordered 2 starters, 2 mains, bread and a dessert to share The scotch egg was perfectly cooked and it was full of flavour. Burrata was also surprisingly good, I really liked the balance between the chestnut, the mandarin and the seasoning. The mains were also amazing the onglet was delicious as well as the ox cheek. Also the bread was a delight the smell was great, the taste was even better.

I was expecting the set menu, but upon arrival, I discovered a different Sunday menu that was not advertised on the website and more expensive. The food was a mixed bag - the roasts were good and huge, but the pork cheek main was very small. There was only one vegetarian choice out of maybe 7 or 8 mains available, which is not really acceptable anymore. When I asked the waitress if they could offer anything else vegetarian, she suggested hake... which was served with mussels and bacon! It was supposed to be a birthday meal, but it really didn't live up to that at all.

Lovely friendly staff, delicious food, and quirky interiors. Can’t wait for my next trip! I took my family to Dylan’s following some fab reviews I’ve seen online, and rave reviews I’d heard from friends and colleagues. Upon arriving, I’ll be honest, my expectations were high… but let me tell you, Dylan’s *absolutely* lived up to them all! We went for lunch and decided to opt for the lunch menu as we loved what was on offer there — and it’s fantastic value! I opted for the salt cod and salmon fishcake for my starter, and the corn-fed chicken breast with Caesar salad dressing for main, and had a side of ham and Parmesan croquettes (one of the specials of the day). Each dish was superb. I look...
