Nice setting. Very attentive staff. Good choice of food with additional daily specials. Great choice of drinks and cocktails. Visited more than once during our weeks stay . Well worth a visit .

Great,busy bar. Had food here a couple of times. Food was ok, but pricey for what it was. Staff extremely helpful and friendly, couldn’t fault them at all. Large British contingent who all seem to love the place.

Really nice place to sit and relax with a beer in hand! The owners had only just taken over from this so some areas needed a little improvement BUT they were working hard to make everyone enjoy what they had to offer. Would go back to see how they have got on.

Wow lovely bar in a great setting. The food is very well priced for the portion sizes and quality, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Highly recommend the fish and chips. The piece of fish was huge and lightly battered, homemelade chips aswell.

Although stopping over the road from here we didn’t venture over till third day for drinks and then didn’t stop going back! Lovely atmosphere, they had a live saxophonist one evening that had people up dancing. We eat here one night aswell and the loaded chips are a must!!! Very friendly staff and will definitely return when we go again.

We visited El Castillo several times this week and thoroughly enjoyed the fish and chips, curry and burger . We tried the chocolate brownie for desert and I must say it’s the best I’ve ever tasted and I’ve tried hundreds over the years, it was delicious !! We couldn’t persuade the staff to give us the recipe but understand a local resident ‘Sharon’ makes them….well done, a truly fabulous brownie

El Castillo has changed hands (again) and is now under the management of a charming couple, Daniel and Aitana, aided by a great waiter, Marco. The menu is much improved, more Spanish. Finally a burger comes with fries, unlike last year when fries were extra! The food is really good, although portions can sometimes be a bit large and overfacing. Prices are up a bit on last year. Make sure you look at the wine list and not just ask the waiter for a bottle! Last night had live music, a brilliant sax player! The revamped El Castillo is a welcome addition to Addaia. Last night four of us went to El Castillo for a meal and I’m so glad we did. It was very quiet so we had a choice of table and chose outside. As we settled we were offered drinks which came promptly. The menu was displayed on 2 blackboards and put at the end of the table. The menu has been reduced but there was something for everyone thanks to Darren the chef. We chose calamares with patatas bravas to share as a starter and I must say the calamares were delicious! Crispy on the outside but still soft inside and the dipping sauce was awesome.
