A real good discovery in Tonbridge. The food is tasty, affordable, (cocktails are a bargain) the team is personable. Will definitely go back. Don't go there if you expect fine dining grub, but it's perfect for hearty Mexican fare. I really enjoyed their grilled Haloumi with chili jelly, simple but impactful. We have lived in Texas for 10 years, and this is the best Mexican/Tex-Mex place we found so far. The food was spot on, flavorful, very well seasoned, with just the right amount of heat (they also have Cholula hot sauce! . The salsa was not loaded with sugar like elsewhere in the UK. We turned up without reservation on a Saturday evening, and they could squeeze us in. The staff was very kind, with quick service despite being fairly busy. No booking to an empty restaurant given a time limit?! I went with a friend that recommended this very restaurant. Out of courtesy both my friend I chose a meal that wouldn 't take too long due to a restricted time. I was not all impressed by the flavour to the meat. There were flies around the place, so tried to look past that! Every 15 mins or so a new waitress would veer to take the plates in the space of 1 hr and urged for the next dish.
