Emmett's Cafe - Speisekarte

Wonderful delicatessen in the middle of nowhere selling extraordinary ham as well as other cured meats, cheese, and very tempting sweet things. Cafe too.

wow, for a wonderful cooked breakfast and a mug of tea. Can't think of anywhere better than this today. Thank you for a great lunch and very friendly staff. Hope to return soon. Jan Ian

for tasteless ham sandwiches and x undrinkable coffee and a average tea. Sandwich was made with the crust (end of loaf) neither had butter. Try Weavers Tearoom instead, we had fantastic food and service there! Speisekarte ansehen

After I am amazed myself in high-end coloring and bacon production, I can recommend emmetts as the best I have here. the black and mild cure are special favorites that I bought from the store and on-line do not add oil or fat while roasting!

we thought of a cuppa, but the caffe was still closed because of the lack of space. delightful shop with very good quality and some very different foods. we bought there a little and so far it was all delicious. Came...from with her little broochure and will almost certainly order online. very pleasant and knowledgeable dame in the shop served our visit to a pleasure.

We met friends at very civilised, to sample the all day breakfast offer at It was the MOST delicious surprise. You get a mug of tea, and a plate with a slice of toast topped with the most succulent ham, an egg...and large slices of incredibly tasty bacon, accompanied by the in-house brown sauce. My intial thought was, ‘I will never eat all that meat’ I did! Ok, so you would not want to eat it every day but the offer ends at the end of March. If you haven’t tried it I couldn’t recommend it any more. The service was perfect and it’s such a wonderful jewel of a shop to wander through! Speisekarte ansehen

We visited Emmetts on the way back from Southwold a few years ago. We happened to spot it on the roadside and since we hadn't eaten breakfast,we called in. I am glad we did. We had a wonderful black bacon toasted sandwich on homemade brown...bread, with melted cheese Brie I think) and a spicy chutney on the side. It was the best bacon I had ever had. I have since ordered some on a few occasions to be delivered for Christmas and it freezes well. I have also had their Chorizo which is lovely, too and a high quality product. I will be placing another order this year, though it is a good idea to share an order with someone as their delivery charges are expensive.

because we live, we rarely go by before that is much too late to breakfast, so this is a reviesw of the load, and our experience is something mixed. cheeses in the main are excellent although the stylton needs to eat as...soon as it is open as I have found that if kept open for too long, it develops a rather sharp taste. the olives are standard olives and not better than rolfes by walsham, which are half price. wrists of gammon are good throughout as the cut ham, although we have recently been amused to see that our package of seasoned Christmas had a best before november. in the danger of the ceremonies I add only one hauch of oil for the black smoked speck, as I otherwise find it too dry....

Really excited about visiting this store. Just stepped inside and a member of staff(middle aged man, slightly balding) didn’t great us or say hello but merely pointed aggressively to the hand gel for us to use. We were just about to use it, it wasn’t...as if we had walked straight past it! Baring in mind that they are renowned for their selection of fine hams I asked him if they had any sliced or if they slice the ham to order. Again he just pointed to the fridge didn’t bother explaining the different types. The meat was so tightly vacuum packed in plastic it was difficult to see what you were buying.
