A little gem where all dishes are freshly cooked. They amended the dish to fit my intolerance. Great staff, nicely decorated

We found this little gem by accident whilst on holiday, we we made very welcome by the staff, especially Zap,Nick and Caitlin, the food, service, beer and atmospere can not be faulted, we will defo return for more.

We had an early dinner here and enjoyed our meals, haddock and chips and sea bass. Friendly efficient staff, who were knowledgable of the Highlands and Inverness. Made to feel very welcome. Also the nicest toilets in town

The food here is delicious! Definitely the best we found across central Inverness. the chicken dish was particularly scrumptious, and the haggis was the best we’ve tasted across Scotland. This place is, by a long way the friendliest place I’ve been to. The staff are professional and attentive to all customers. The food is brilliant, the staff knowledge of local drinks is unrivalled. They are a good team and this was shown every day I visited. Notable personnel are Nick, David, Zaphira, Sylvia and Caitlin. This place is a must for anyone visiting Inverness.

This wasn’t a planned visit but it certainly should have been. The rain was coming down so went into the nearest place for lunch. We might have been unlucky with the weather but we came up trumps with this place. Warm and friendly welcome, extremely attentive staff and comfortable clean environment. They advertise the food as made in-house and you can actually see the chefs doing the prep so it’s visibly clear this is the case. Excellent value and great food. It’s not fancy but it’s incredibly tasty. Their handmade burger topped with cheese and haggis was sensational.

Food was good, not great, but from my point of view quite overpriced. If I'm going to pay 15£ for a risotto I'm expecting a great one, and I felt I could have cooked it myself at home -which is a bit disappointing. It's fair to say that we went on the first day of the new menu, so it might have been one of. The staff wasn't really paying lots of attention to the tables and we weren't asked if everything was alright; they seemed busy chatting to each other. Took a while to get their attention when needed. One of the chefs was constantly ringing the bell, since he had food under the lights while 5 members of the staff were behind the bar, not really paying attention. I think this could be a gr...
