This place is absolutely amazing- the food, the wine , the service impeecable. You can tell the owners take pride in everything from the olive oil to the bread to the dessert. It is a hidden gem, and yes away from the tourists. You feel like a priveldged visitor here, and there is not rush or time at all. Highly recommend.

The best pasta in Rome! Absolutely wonderful food made by the owner’s sister! She also makes the desserts, which are excellent! Very lovely, relaxed atmosphere with great service. We were unsure of which wine to order and our waitress was very helpful, she gave us an excellent recommendation. I will certainly return here next time I come to Rome.

We stayed in this restaurant to celebrate a degree, behind advice of a friend. we were pleasantly impressed by the attention and courtesy of the owner, who tried to meet all our requests, showing himself professional and careful. delicious homemade tonnarelli and tried condiments, abundant portions, punctual service, beautiful location. we were completely satisfied and we count to return during the next trip to roma.

We had dinner at this restaurant for our last night in Rome. The quality of the ingredients was the best of any restaurants we had in Rome in any of our trips. Service was impeccable, polite, professional and yet very friendly. Despite looking more upscale, and having only home made pasta and quality ingredients (often organic), prices are the same as in any Roman eatery. We are saddened not to have found this place before.
